My status just changed ordered nov 5th now PFS I ordered:

2.6GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7
16GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM
Radeon Pro 450 with 2GB VRAM
512GB PCIe-based SSD
Four Thunderbolt 3 ports
Touch Bar and Touch ID

Mine left at ~4:20pm and ended up in VA a few hours ago and has "at dst sort facility" as the status. Supposed to get today but doubt it. Thankfully everyone is working Christmas hours so maybe they will get it out for delivery.

Mine was delivered on the 2nd around 12:45pm

Laptop is pretty sweet so far. Never had a retina screen so that alone is nice...

My Mac (ordered Oct 31) shipped from Shanghai last Tuesday but has been stuck in Asia since that time. It went from Shanghai to Narita to Incheon and is now nearly full circle back to Hong Kong. It is still scheduled by FedEx for a Monday delivery here in Virginia. I don't really care how it gets here as long as it gets here on Monday. But in the meantime, it has been kind of fun playing this game of "Where In The World is my MacBook Pro!"

Waiting for DHL to deliver my 13in TB (512GB / 16GB).

For anyone who's waiting in the UK for their delivery (and it's by DHL), you can check the flight schedules for them here. I live in London so know it would be delivered via London Heathrow (LHR). It's departed Brussels a couple hours ago so either it's arrived at LHR or waiting to be loaded to the plane due to depart and land tomorrow (BCS0378).

The wait is agonising. Ordered 2nd Nov.

Finally got an "export scan."
  • Shanghai, CN
  • 12/03/2016 10:00 A.M.
  • Export Scan
  • Shanghai, CN
  • 12/01/2016 6:50 P.M.
  • Arrival Scan
  • 12/01/2016 6:35 P.M.
  • Departure Scan
And with that, the expected delivery date was pushed back a day, to 12/8.

Same here!
That's so frustrating. Why is it still sitting in Shanghai?!
Export doesn't even mean that's it's left either, right?
From what I can tell, there isn't a UPS flight from Shanghai to Alaska until tomorrow.

So... quick update - mine updated this morning, and it's at my local distribution center - I'm presuming it'll be 'out for delivery' today (although it hasn't updated yet) - they've got ...12 hours and 15 minutes to meet their original goal :)

FTR, ordered mine on Oct 30 in the evening, 15" 2.9 1TB 460

I was similar, but 28th, and same time frame (7-13th). Mine's in Raleigh this morning, and I suspect I'll have it tonight by 8 - hoping you have yours as well tonight!

Yes! I received mine yesterday I'm very happy!

Our 13" started in China on 11/29. It has since stopped in Osaka (Japan), Anchorage, Louisville, and Baltimore on its way to Virginia.

Anyone on the 6th or later see movement yet?

My window is Dec 14-20 but I'm hoping to at least be on the front side of that window since I'm due out on the road the 17th or 18th.

Specs:
  • 2.9GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7
  • 16GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM
  • Radeon Pro 460 with 4GB VRAM
  • 1TB PCIe-based SSD

I ordered on the 7th, same specs and same delivery window... no movement.

I'm also in a similar situation and need to be on the road on the 13th.... wishing for arrival a week early, like other people have experienced.

Doesn't look like that's going to happen now.

13" Space Grey, Touch Bar, 16GB RAM, 516GB SSD, 3.1Ghz i5.

Ordered 10/31 - Shipped 11/30 - Scheduled Delivery 12/5

Funny thing is the shipping path so far: China, Japan, S Korea, Hong Kong? Seems like it's stuck in a large typhoon over Asia. Where next? Vietnam, Phillippines, Banaglore?

If you order a BTO today, shipping is 2-3 weeks. Looks like someone ordering BTO might get theirs before me or others that ordered earlier. This is upsetting.

anyone else thinking of canceling their order? With all the issues with the GPU and battery i'm nervous. I don't want this to be a thing.

Yeah, pretty frustrating to watch the play-by-play of these UPS updates. Probably much healthier just to stay focused on the originally promised delivery date range. :)

Too late for me to cancel, but I'm getting mine on Tuesday and thinking I might return it :(

It was so expensive that I really have to love it to keep it. If it has graphics issues or the battery life sucks or I can't stand the keyboard or something...I'm returning it. It's too much money to keep it if I don't really love it.

I agree but don't know what other options I have. I'm a longtime Mac user and just simply can't imagine using Windows but... The slow pace of deliveries isn't helping either. I ordered on 10/31 and still haven't seen any movement. At this point I'm very confused. What does someone who wants to use MacOs but wants a good laptop do? I think your assessment is the right one. If I get it and don't absolutely love it to death it's going back and I guess I'll buy a refurb of the last generation retina MacBooks until I can work up the courage to switch to Windows. Damn Apple how did you lose me?

The store is down with the following message....."WE ARE SORRY" looks like they have all gone asleep:D:D:D:D:D:D
