2016 Macbook Pro, Order/Shipping Thread

Just got charged an hour ago, 15|2.6|512|460|Space Grey Canada on educational discount!
Still stuck at processing though :(
 
Order is still processing but Apple took the authorization hold off my debit. Is that normal? Before there was a hold for $2900 that was removed from my available balance. Now my available balance doesnt have the hold on it anymore
 
I don't know if the base 13" with 16gb ram has had issues or is just low priority but I ordered on 10th Nov and I still haven't had anything change. People who have ordered 20 days later than me have shipping estimates that are only a week behind mine.

I know there is still time for them to meet my 16th-22nd Dec window but it would be nice to get it a little early like many others on here.
 
The wait truly sucks.

I actually managed to gety spec in-store on the 24th of November. The Touch ID was a little loose. Okay, maybe I am a little fussy, but spending over £3,000 on a MacBook, I should be!

Managed to get a second unit with same specs. Unfortunately, that kept giving me kernal panics and restarting. Apple support said it had a hardware issue and also had to return that.

Was fun whilst it lasted; now just waiting for my online order to ship. Honestly don't mind waiting, as long as there are no issues!!!

did anyone else order from B&H Photo????
I talked to B&H and they said "when we get it we'll send it out to you"......really?????
come on B&H how about a little more info!!!
I thought it was a good thing to not pay taxes by getting it from B&H Photo.....

It turns out there was nothing wrong after all. April 1 will be here soon enough, Apple.
 
It doesn't seem to matter your order date. You either wait for Apple or cancel and go make another choice. They don't care. Each one is supposedly being especially made just for you. You are then supposed to feel so special you will sit quietly and wait. (HaHa)

I ordered my 13", 3.1, 16gb, 512gb on Nov 15th, it told me 4-5 weeks and then gave me a Dec 22-28 estimate. According to my math, that is after 5 full weeks... That should be a 6-7 week estimate.

Now when you look at Apple.com, they are saying that it will take 2-3 weeks on new purchases. There's no way that is accurate. I wish their estimates were more accurate.

God, you are annoying. I think you should just cancel your order with all your complaining.

That sounds interesting because Opera is built on Chrome's backend.
 
November 8 order charged. Charge was denied this morning at first so I'm not sure what kind of delay that will cause.

Original window: Dec 15 - 21
 
Finally got some movement on my 15"/2.9/1TB/460/SG.

Ordered at 2PM CST on 11/7 with a delivery window of 12/14-12/20.

Order updated to P4S as of sometime last night.

Received shipment notification at 8:43 AM CST today, with an expected delivery date of 12/15 to a USA destination.

Unfortunately, I will be leaving to go out of town on the 13th, so I won't even be able to touch it until I get back... but, c'est la vie.

There will be a nice present waiting for me at home.
 
Ok guys I will be leaving this thread ---- because my mac is to arrive tomorrow! :cool:

I was in 14-20 Dec delivery window and it is to be delivered on 9th Dec (ordered 7 Nov). Me like it.

Well, if I am annoying, you are rude. I am not complaining, I am stating a fact. I am so glad you feel it important enough to tell me you find me annoying. I find you rude in your comments but have not posted til now.

Sorry, buddy. You'll get your MacBook Pro soon enough. I'm patiently waiting like yourself and I'm kinda losing my mind.
 
FedEx just delivered mine- MacBookPro Model: A1706 (13”, Late 2016, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports. Processor 2.9Ghz Intel Core i5), Memory: 8GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3, 500GB SSD Drive.

Compared to my 2011 MBP this is a step down in capabilities based on the lack of dedicated graphics, but que sera, I could not justify another $1000 for maximized game playing on my Mac, don't travel as much, don't game as much when traveling. Plus I've got a PC at home for serious gaming. :)

Note: Just installed Windows 10 on it using Bootcamp, very easy to accomplish.
