Yes, my delivery was originally estimated to be Dec 20-30, it was then changed to 22 Dec-Jan 3 and then to Dec 28 - Jan 3. It was delivered on the 28th, so it was basically delivered within the original estimation.

I know! Thanks. I couldn't believe how quickly it came! I was so surprised when it entered preparing to ship. I thought it must enter that stage for a long period or something but everything I read on these forums said within 24 hours it would be ship and it did.

Are issues more common on custom builds?
In Canada, ordered a 2.7GHz/1TB/460 space grey, expected to be picked up at Eaton Centre on Jan.30th... Also I'm still hoping to find a stock 2.9/1TB/460 but no luck in Square One, Conestoga, Eaton Centre and Masonville
Ordered 19th of December, just got a charge on my credit card, order still shows processing, imagine it will change overnight.
Yes, bumped the base 15" to a 460 GPU.
The E key, haha... Can't really get around that one.
Real shame, because the unit was otherwise flawless. I've read about less-than-lucky individuals in here, so I hope my next unit will be flawless.

Maxed out 15" space grey was my order.
It either registered double or very delayed, depending on how your finger landed. Normal response was impossible though.
Has anyone who has received their MacBook Pro done any benchmarking?
I received my 15 inch (2.9, 460, 512gb) today and am loving it but I did a Blackmagic speed test and my write speeds aren't going above 1018 mb/s which I thought was very low.. Is there something wrong with my SSD or have other people had speeds like this?
Or could anyone direct me to a thread talking about this?

Use AJA System Test as it'll give you a more accurate reading.
If you're curious though, I have the same config 2.9, 460, 512GB and on Black Magic Speed Test and AJA Systems Test I have the following readings: (image attached)

I'm not too sure how these resets will help, but before coming to any conclusions, why not try an SMC and NVRAM reset then try the tests again. 900 is about half of what you should be getting. Make sure you run the test a few times on AJA though.
