Sergio - Do you have any further updates? Same boat as you and Casablanca. We got the update on 21st and it has arrived in Netherlands on 23rd. Just trying to guestimate the delivery date now.
What was your original expected delivery day? Mine just arrived in Alaska about three or four hours ago and I ordered on the 15th. Hopeful that it will be delivered tomorrow, as I have 2 to 3 days shipping and it shipped one day after yours. But currently it is estimated to arrive on December 27 through UPS. Here's hoping for a Christmas miracle!
Does anyone know if planes and things will be flying on the UPS holidays or will all UPS activity be shut down?

writing this post from it now. Amazing computer, i hope you have it already Good luck to everybodyi ordered my 13", 3.3 i7, 16GB RAM 1TB HDD on December 5. "Delivers December 26-January 2" is what was stated on my order, but it is still stuck in "Processing" mode on December 23. Anyone is in the same situation? Isn't Apple typically delivers earlier than promissed?

Expected delivery was December 27, 2 to 3 day shipping (original delivery window was December 28 - January 3)
Same configuration I ordered last week. Went from processing to preparing for shipping Friday morning, and around midnight the status changed to shipped, ups now says I will get it Tuesday. my original delivery date was December 28- January 5
Mine shipped on 22nd, to Albuquerque, NM, but it is still stuck at "export scan" in Shanghai.
And for your question, UPS won't sort, transfer or deliver during holiday for ALL NON-NEXTDAY AIR shipment.
Thanks. Looks like I'm totally screwed for delivery today though - freaking UPS is holding my order at the Louisville warehouse instead of sending it to DFW... Was hoping it would get in to DFW early enough to be delivered today. Has anyone ever had this happen to their order where it was held in warehouse at Kentucky and the estimated delivery date became unavailable?

Anyone else have their MacBook Pro stuck at "Held at Warehouse" at the Louisville UPS distro center? UPS told me today that one of the packages in my "WorldEase" shipment may have held up the whole lot. I'm leaving town the 28th, so I'm nervous it won't get to me on the 27th. Obsessing like crazy over this.
That sucks. I wonder if I can call apple and have them ship to a different state. Really sucks I got assigned to UPS - I've found FedEx to be so much faster and reliable.
Hey guys quick question, if ordered right now from Apple 15" MacBook Pro 2.9/1tb/460 has Jan 16 - Jan 26 delivery or 26 in store pick up. Is there a quicker way to get a hold of the computer? Could they have this configuration ready at an apple store? Thanks. Sorry if that's a stupid question/been asked before.
Yep, there has been stock of certain configurations in store, including customized.

Thanks. I'm going to be in the US in the week of Jan 9 so I was hoping to get it then since it cheaper there than anywhere else. Should I call the store or will they show up in check store pick up?
According to threads you need to go in-store and ask them to check on their hand-helds for stock.
My order just slipped to 6-8 weeks shipping time... Wondering if this has to do with the battery issue?! Maybe Apple is halting production to investigate?
