2016 Macbook Pro, Order/Shipping Thread

Ordered my CTO macbook Pro 15" on October 28 and still no news. Friday December 23 they said shipping moved to December 26 but now I got an email telling me Apple is having issues with production of CTO's for Belgium, Netherlands and Europe. Really frustrating this. Guess I'll order from the online Apple store next time in stead.

I ordered from the IT guy at my work who orders from Apple reseller network... but that's a first and last

I had same thing, I live in Russia and someone I know ordered from the reseller network too at about the same date and same thing, I cancelled about a week ago. Don't know if it's related in any way, none of resellers here have BTO in stock too.
 
@alex00100 I'm not planning on cancelling my order, because I feel it's close :) Resellers do have some BTO stock over here. But really not interested in BTO
 
I'm seeing the 2.7/1TB/460 shipping between Jan 19th-23rd if ordered now; I ordered mine on December 22nd and got a very similar window (Jan 17th-24th). That was 12 days ago, and still got the same dates.
I hope it means they've speeded up production and my Mac is about to arrive (or at least, to be shipped)

Have a very similar order (just with 512GB) from December 24th with the same delivery window as yours. Ordered to Germany, still processing as of now.

I ordered a couple days ago and delivery is sched for Jan 17-19 will it be shipped from China or California?

If you add it to the bag and try to check out, the ship dates falls back to January 26-February 2, FYI.

Wow, mine has already changed to "preparing for shipment" does anyone know if these are shipped from China or California?
 
Order from the local Apple Store in Pittsburgh on the 22nd. Ship date Jan 16-24. Found what I wanted on B&H, tbMBP 2.9 2TB 460. Ordered it yesterday, got it today. Canceled the oder from Apple directly. B&H recently received a large order it appears.

Ordered mine from B&H on Saturday...should get here today (1/5)...15" tbMBP 2.7 / 512GB / 455

Got a great deal with the AppleInsider promo code on this model so I can't complain.
 
Ordered 2.9GHz/1TB/460 Space Gray 15 from B&H yesterday. I have a business account with Apple and I've been waiting for it to arrive at my local Apple store as this is a "secretly stocked" config. As a business member, they will hold one for you once they arrive but no luck so far.

Thanks to this thread, I saw B&H had it in stock and they matched the Adorama deal including AppleCare. Shipped last night and should be here by Friday.
 
@callea Molto Gratzi.

I'm being told by Apple that while it quotes 2-3 weeks before the actual order is placed that changes to 6-8 weeks after the order is made (have never seen behavior like that). Something doesn't seem right... lead times don't grow like that, they usually ease down to 1-2 weeks as the initial rush is over.

If this is real and other people are experiencing the same, I seriously wonder if they are rushing to fix some issues with the first batch.

This being my only forum where I can cross check that I am very appreciative to anyone who can provide any feedback.
 
Wow I just got a text that my SG 15" just shipped early I'll have it next week, that's about a week earlier than they said when I ordered.

Cool, congrats! What configuration? I'm not that lucky haha, I've been waiting since 22nd for a 2.7/460/1TB (with same delivery window than you)
 
Anyone from U.K.:

Mine has just moved to "preparing for dispatch" today.

How long does this stage typically last before the item is sent?
