@callea Molto Gratzi.

I'm being told by Apple that while it quotes 2-3 weeks before the actual order is placed that changes to 6-8 weeks after the order is made (have never seen behavior like that). Something doesn't seem right... lead times don't grow like that, they usually ease down to 1-2 weeks as the initial rush is over.

If this is real and other people are experiencing the same, I seriously wonder if they are rushing to fix some issues with the first batch.

This being my only forum where I can cross check that I am very appreciative to anyone who can provide any feedback.
Ordered a 4.7/512/460 on Dec 28. App Store at the time said ships in 1-2 weeks but my email notice says 2-3 weeks. Hoping it's the former.

Ordered the 15/2.9/1TB/460/Grey on 26/12. Got an eta of 18-23/01 and have been obsessively checking for updates since. Finally decided to stop torturing myself and just let it happen in it's own time - I'm used to ordering from China so I should have known better anyway. One last check for luck and what do you know, the little fella is preparing to wing its way in my direction.

Upgrading from an i3 2010 iMac and a couple of windows laptops that lasted <2 years so I'm pretty excited/borderline hysterical about the whole situation. Have to say there is a fair bit of trepidation as well after reading about all the problems people have had but I've got my fingers crossed, I'm thinking positively and I'm ready to get my dongle on!

We have identical configurations and I ordered a day before you, haven't even charged my card yet. Still processing.

Where are you located?

Ordered the 15" 2,7 GHZ 512GB R460 model at the 28 Dec at the german Apple online store Shipping is between 18 - 25 jan. Have someone simular datas?

Kind of. I too ordered from the German Apple Store, exactly the same model ( :D ) three days ago and it's coming in 2 - 3 weeks. But consider you had festivity in that time.

I'm in the Uk. My delivery estimate has actually now been put back to 19-26/01. Maybe I just overlooked this previously. Hoping to see it within a week but who knows.

Gotcha. I'm under the impression that our regions have different suppliers. I'm in the US.

Ah, ok. I know nothing about their production setup but it seems like things are starting to move a bit quicker than expected so hopefully yours will make an appearance soon.

These devices are all made in China by Foxcon.... they essentially all come from the same factory. Someone correct me or supply more details please
According to folks in this thread, the same spec machines were shipping within a week to some parts of EU. I do know that Apple has multiple suppliers, I just don't know how they're distributed.

My 2.7/1TB/460 just changed to "Envío en preparación" ("preparing for dispatch").

Shipping to Spain, still says delivery 17th-24th.

Ps: ordered on Dec 22nd

Just got a notification: My mac has been shipped! ETA Jan 16th. (I hope it arrives sooner :p)

I just ordered a 2.7/460/512. Delivery is due Jan 26 - Feb 3. Upgrading from a 2012 base 13'' non-Retina. That upgrade is going to be huge! :)

Anyone from U.K.:

Mine has just moved to "preparing for dispatch" today.

How long does this stage typically last before the item is sent?

Cheers!
Well, I guess that answers that question. Shipping notification (2.7, 460, 512) received an hour ago.

Delivery date 7 days from now (13th Jan) though... that's longer than I would have thought from the point of dispatch.

Suppose I shouldn't complain, since the initial delivery estimate was 20th-27th. I want it NOW though!! :p

Been tracking my 2016 Macbook Pro 15" overseas and now it has arrived at Fed Ex in Memphis TN this morning, won't be long now.

Ordered on 8th Dec - MBP 15" 2.9/2TB/460, it was showing 2-3 weeks for delivery i.e. between 22nd Dec and 29th Dec but still waiting on 8th Jan.

It's still showing processing! Seriously delayed. Not sure if Apple is holding the high-end configuration due to some issue. Has anybody else received similar configuration post 10.12.2 update was released?

Top spec order here, delayed 6-8 weeks here, being advised that it's because I'm a business customer? Whole thing is super odd, it was 2-3 weeks and then consumer reports episode and a few days later my order time slipped. Something is wrong in my opinion...

The delay is alright if they are going to fix the issues before shipping. I don't want to deal with any more battery and GPU issues after going through a number of battery and GPU issues with my 2009 and 2011 MBPs.

I don't think Apple would admit to the hardware issues with their flagship notebook just 3 months after the release but if there is a hardware issue, we might receive a silent component upgrade or our notebooks might go through extended QA testing to ensure that graphics card and battery don't cause any issue down the line.

Did they notify that your order was going to be delayed by 6-8 weeks? Mine still comes up as "processing" and I have asked Apple a few times but they don't have any information on when it will be shipped. It has been about 4.5 weeks so far.

When are they going to send out my replacement? I can't believe that it takes that long
