Def not priority first. I got my confirmation e-mail at 11:26am (2:26pm EST) on 10/27 thinking I'd be able to start using it on-site with clients earlier. Earliest confirmation I've seen. Still no activity since the e-mail. :( Oh well, at least my dongles are on their way! Makes me wonder if using credit vs. debit makes any difference in your order. When I bought my 7+, they required that it be purchased on credit. Bought my dongles with credit, but my MBP with debit. Maybe I'm just looking into it too much.

I bought mine with debit too. My CC limit is well below the 15" price

Called to make sure it wouldn't get rejected due to purchase limit and she said there wasn't any activity. I never saw a $1 charge either. Oh well, if no movement by tomorrow morning I'll chat with support. Good luck!

On the plus side, that's a killer config and exactly what I would've ordered if I wanted the 15" model. Better to order what you want and be truly happy with your machine when it arrives. But believe me, I understand the pain, as I cancelled a first wave Nov 17 order the next day to bump up the specs.
I completely agree which is why I did what I did. What config did you get?

I'm pretty sure specs and location are other important factors to the order. Someone that ordered the exact same specs but after you would have lower priority, but if someone ordered a stock spec after you, they could get it earlier. There's lots of factors here. You can not just go by the order time. Look at the iPhone 7 rollout, vast differences between Plus and non-Plus, colors, memory size, and even carrier type.

Good thing you called, mine got rejected the first time as my daily spending limit is slightly below the price. I went to the bank to get it sorted, then called up the Apple Sales rep and made them run the transaction again, and it went through.

Ordered the 15" base except with 1TB at 3:30 EDT on launch day. Was wondering all day why I didn't get charged. Got home to a phone message from my bank about a suspicious charge attempt. OK'd the charge with the bank but haven't seen the charge show on my account yet. I really hope my stupid bank didn't delay my delivery. Scheduled for Nov. 17 - 25.

Edit: Used the chat feature on the Apple's order page, and had the guy run the charge again and it went through!

If you ordered early and didn't get charged you might want to check with your bank - nothing showed up on my bank's website about a charge attempt, but I got a phone call about it.

Gotcha. That makes sense. Going by the spreadsheet it looks like it's one of the most popular configurations. Maybe they're getting the bulk of that configuration finished before sending any notifications. Not sure if I've seen anyone with these specs get charged yet, particularly 512GB.

Still nothing here. :/ Ordered within 15 minutes of the keynote with a credit card and it still hasn't been charged. (yes I have the credit line for the purchase..)

13" Touch Bar with 3.3 GHz i7 / 512GB SSD / 16GB RAM

I bumped the processor from 2.9 to 3.3 when I canceled my original order. Probably not worth it, but this is the first time in a while I've had the money to buy the computer I really want, and I wanted to max it out. I was also considering buying the exact model you did but I know it's overkill for me in terms of power, and I love the portability of the 13" considering I'll be traveling a fair bit in the next year.

15", Touch Bar, 512GB, 2.7GHz, Radeon 460 - charged this morning. Ordered around 1230PM Pacific day of announce.

I have the exact same order coming :) just maxed it out.... sort of thinking I went a bit too far for a secondary machine but I would prefer to have as much as I can under the hood rather than not.

I may be wrong, but I thought some people were able to figure out where their orders were with iPhones when plugging in their order numbers into UPS's website? Is this the case? I do not recall exactly how to do it or what combination was necessary, but I wonder if it would work here.
