While I agree with you that he needs to go, and he's bad for the game, I will say the news leaked about the jet was incomplete. He wants access to the same discounted rate the NFL has. Basically he's wants to pay the same rate the NFL does for using the private jets, he doesn't want it for free. I guess the people who released that info, left that tidbit out for obvious reasons

For what ever reason, QBs that have a phenomenal rookie outing tend to struggle in their sophomore yeah. I think Prescott had a great year last yeah, and it certainly helped to have Elliot in the backfield as well. I know there's other reasons to account for Dallas struggling and I'm not putting it all on his shoulders but he did not look like the Dak Prescott of 2016.

If this came from Macadoo he’s an idiot, why ruin Manning’s legacy for no reason. They aren’t going anywhere this year and it’s not like you are trying to see what you have in Geno, you already know what Geno is.... and if it came from the owners then they are unappreciative ******s.

I’m ashamed to call the Giants my favorite football team. It’s a disgrace what they did to Eli and ownership should be ashamed. I once thought this was a classy team but now they are no better than the Browns or Jets.

I honestly feel like Macadoo is the worst/dumbest heacd coach I've seen since Art Shell.

By benching him I think he's managed to salvage it.
IMHO Eli looks golden in this scenario.
Macadoo is an idiot and Eli won't have to put up with playing under him.

So now it comes out that that was John Mara's idea to bench Eli not the coach or GM.

You can't honestly say that in watching them lately that you've felt like Eli should be out there?

While watching that debacle the other day I actually thought to myself, "What if Eli gets hurt in this meaningless sham of a game?".
He's better off letting the scrubs take a beating.

Last weekend VS the Redskins he took 4 sacks. 26 for the season with 5 to play.
That doesn't include hits mind you.

Benching him has nothing to do with keeping him healthy. It’s all about finding a replacement. Or tanking. They could have easily used the health excuse to bench him. Instead they say we want to start the proven suckbag Gino Smith to see if he’s any good. They obviously want to draft a QB next year. Mara gave Eli the option to start to just keep the streak alive. Eli knew the real season was the team wanted to save face and Eli called their bluff and said don’t start me. He knows they want to trade him next year.

I hate the giants, let me just get that out there. Like the Yankees, I really don't have any fondness towards that franchise. Yet with that said, I'm hoping McAdoo sees the error of his ways and not only starts Manning but plays him for the entire game (and season). There's nothing to be gained by playing Geno, everyone knows what he is and isn't capable of.

Also it seems McAdoo may very well get fired before the end of the season

I agree, wilson is definitely the most valuable player to his team. The seahawks are toast without someone who can run so well from defenders.

I'm guessing Tom Brady gets mvp this year though.

Will be pretty crazy if the seahawks get deep in the playoffs without Richard Sherman and kam chancellor.

disagree. they are that good. seattle at home is a pretty tough road game for anyone.

I disagree, just because they lost, doesn't mean they've been winning by smoke and mirrors - they're very good and will only get better.
