2017 MacBook and Thunderbolt Display

Does the 2017 12” Macbook connect to a thunderbolt display?

I use it with my 15” MBA no issue with the TB to USB-C adapter from apple.

i attempted to connect it to my MacBook, and nothing.

The 12" MacBook, does not support Thunderbolt. So there is no way to connect it to the display.
