2019 13” MBP 1.4ghz quad-core benchmarks?

Spotify, Safari, MS Office (although I mainly use Google Docs now), iTunes, and a development environment for work. And yes, 8gb of ram has been enough. If I dont shut the browser down for a week or two, it engages the swapper.

Just out of curiosity how much disk space MS Office use in MacOS? I might get it later if I feel Pages and Numbers don't work well with docs I use and edit on my Windows machines with Office.

On my machine it's about 8-9 gig for just the applications.

click on the apple at the top left of the screen, select about this Mac, then storage, then click mange. It will calculate and tell you how much space system is taking. I'm showing 14.8 gig on a base system I have running 10.14.6

Mine is around 24-25c when I first power it up. So in your unit battery does not warm up at all.
No wonder you got so fabulous test results in CB test where your battery did not drop FCC at all.

How about other Entry MBP 2019 owners. What is your battery temperature when you run it on battery for quite some time and machine is under moderate load?

Well I gave you that reading at the time when I saw your post. I have just watched a 2h movie on Netflix and battery temp is at 30.2c, I checked it sporadically throughout and the peak was 30.9c.

CPU ran at 38-42c the whole time and this is with the laptop in bed with the vents probably almost completely blocked off.
 
OK, seems cooler than mine, but I have not tested Netflix in case it runs cooler than Youtube in Safari. Anyway now as I type this with couple other Safari tabs open my battery temp is 32,6c. Machine on my lap and it has been running on battery for about 1 hour. Room temp is about 23c.

I am. because I am confident in the quality of apple product.

I dun even buy apple care for my MacBook pro touch bar 2017.
 
So I’m receiving the 1.7/16gb/256GB config pretty soon. Not sure why my company didnt go for the 2.4ghz, but hey can’t complain. Should arrive somewhere this week.

I’m willing to do some benchmarks if anyone is interested.

Did you display detectives ever figure out FMX?

My A041 2020 Air was LG
A042 is spitting out a similar thing, lots of '?' in the response to the terminal command though

I think its a hair nicer than my A041 LG was, but they were VERY close looking at them for a minute before I sent mine back (because it was i5/256, got a great deal on an i5/512)
