That's what I thought about the Saints offense. I feel like the Saints have a much more explosive offense than the 49ers and the Vikings survived that. I think if the 49ers are going to win, their defense has to stifle Cousins and contain Cook...... the battle in the trenches does not bode well for Minnesota, SF has an excellent pass rush and the Vikings pass protection has been poor..... So look for the game to potentially be decided up front.

Agreed. The caveat being Cousins is inconsistent. I’m not knocking that he’s not a ‘good’ quarterback, but he doesn’t really seem like he’s someone that executes consistently.

The thing about S.F., they play at a very difficult level from the start and their defensive strategies are at/above almost every other team in the NFL right now. What I like about Kyle Shanahan as a coach, he seems to zone in on every little imperfection with the 49ers and corrects it, which makes San Francisco so dangerous from a game-to-game strategy With the game tapes that review the 49ers gameplay.

That is one reason why I would rather have the Hawks play the Vikings for the NFC Championship game.

Yeah, SF is definitely an excellent team. AS it is, the first time the Hawks beat them was due to some luck: their kicker missed that chip shot of a field goal near the end of regulation. But the second time they played, although SF did outplay the Hawks for the first 3 or so quarters, they got lucky near the end of regulation, what with the obvious pass interference call not being made, and the (once again) poor clock management by the Hawks.

If they were to meet again the game out be in SF, and I just think the Hawks will not be able to beat them.

So..uhh...who’s bracket is Kinda/sorta upside down? 😁

And I thought the wildcard round was crazy, not Also is New England out, now the Ravens being the #1 seed is out.

Tennessee was impressive, Tannehill played way better than anyone could’ve projected for this game. Well deserved.

Oh, and San Francisco looked dangerous. Props to Kyle Shanahan.

Yeah, definitely a shocker with the Titans beating the #1 seed, and beating the Ravens in such a dominating fashion.

And yes, the 49ers look unbeatable. Even if the Hawks manage to beat the Packers, I am not looking forward to another meeting between the Hawks and the 49ers.

Tennessee played a great game and Baltimore looked flat to me, especially Jackson. Many of his passes looked like wounded ducks.

That’s because Jackson spent more time running then he did throwing. Seriously, he made me think of the ‘Michael Vick’ days the way he can move and maneuver. He Probably is the most elusive quarterback in the NFL right now.

I didn't watch the game but I was shocked to see Titans beat the Ravens.

I missed the first 1.5 quarters, but from what I saw afterwards the Titans defense just shut down and made the Ravens waste a ton of time on every play. They hit the red zone twice after I watched and couldn't get a touchdown, also the interceptions and fumble were really bad. Lots of dropped passes too.

Tannehill was 7/14 for 88 yards... I know he threw for 2 TD’s but I certainly don’t think he’s any better than his Miami days.

At this junction, nobody cares about his Miami days. His performance how he played last night was better than anyone else saw forthcoming. And more to the point, I’d say his ‘career highlights’ is all about the postseason in terms of leading his team past two _major_ contenders with the Pats/Ravens. Those two touchdowns he threw last night is what spectators will remember, not his past stats for Miami.

I guess.. and then they will overpay for him and be disappointed. Point being, they are winning on Henry’s legs and the defense. Seriously, 88 yards.

I’m hoping they can get to the Super Bowl! Just wouldn’t oversell Tannehill.

I agree, Tannehill wasn’t the sole reason they won the game, I just was indicating that he performed better than what projections were saying that he would initially. [I’d say he played better than Lamar Jackson did.] But yes, they’re running back with Henry is a brute force, and a main reason why they won last night.

Holy hell, KC is falling apart, drop/drop/drop, miscommunication, bad execution ... if you saw this KC team playing in the 3rd or so regular season game, you'd figure they were bound for a 4 / 12 season at best.

Chiefs == Ravens

I think Josh is waiting for Belicheck to retire.
No, he had a staff assembled if he got a job and why go on the interview if you're not serious.

Besides, why wait for BB to retire? You'll still be in his shadow and will be compared to BB. Plus without Brady, and an asking team - they will not be very good for a while. With Cleveland the pieces are in place

OK, there's some momentum! I would've (as Texas) definitely gone for it on 4th and 1, either 1st down, score, or hand it over on KC's 10, now they had a solid return, got momentum, and scored in 2 minutes.

Holy smokes! Talk about a turn around, there's what I expected from the #2 seed!

The Texans keep committing defensive penalties. Are they normally this sloppy?

It’s more that that. They literally have no answer right now to stop the onslaught of Kansas City‘s offense. Typically, if you’ve watched any of The Texans previous ‘regular season’ games, defensively they’ve been pretty decent. The problem right now is, they have no answer for the passing.

There still a lot of football left in this game, the Texans are just gonna have to convert and play better defense.

But Hey, the good news, I’m slated to be in the $green$ in this game.😁 Now, I just need G.B. to lose.

Put a fork in them. The Texans are toast
Yeah, I was just going to say that the Chiefs are blasting their way to the AFC Championship Game.

And now I see a Chiefs - 49ers Super Bowl. That would be a fantastic match up. However, if Green Bay was to defeat the Hawks (a good possibility) and the 49ers (a chance for that), then it would be a rematch of Super Bowl I, Chiefs and Packers. That could be nostalgic!
