the base models are i3/8/256 and i5/8/512

i5/8/256 is a custom order ; there is no $1049 SKU afaik

I see what you mean. As a club store, they sometimes get custom configurations of items. Odds are, they won’t carry a config like what I want but you never know.

I doubt they'll do anything to offer that i5/8/512 even if it does get re listed.. if it were me I'd take the i3 for net $749 and run :)
 
They actually had it on the website on Thursday and Friday but it was the gold color.

I saw that too but I'm just saying

I doubt a supervisor will take $500 off that model, sounds like you talked your way into the i3 for $200 off the list price which aint bad.

I’ll probably order the base i3 model this week and use the cash card for accessories.

Got my refund after sending it back while in transit, and I got a letter from Costco with a stiff card in it so im assuming I got my $50 gift card haven't sorted through the Mail yet

I did see the silver and space grey 512 was on website. anyone trying their luck?

Tried chat again and no go. The other chat agent gave wrong info. Can not exchange with 2 different item #s. Oh well! at least i got my $50 gift card today.
