Nodody’s status has really gone back to ‘order placed’ - the whole system is just down so that is the default. If I check the status of a Magic Mouse I ordered and had delivered a month ago it is now back to ‘Order Placed’ for example.

It is strange that this has gone on so long with no announcement or warning on the website though.

Aargh, anyone else‘s DPD UK delivery now stuck at the Depot? Mine was due for delivery today on my request but now it just says delayed due to unexpected issues. Apple’s order website is also down. Clicking order status through the despatch confirmation email says 1-2 weeks arrival.

My order status went back to 'order placed' on Apple.com as well. UPS tracking says my package is in Anchorage, AK with delivery for 21 May. Must be a system issue, I wouldn't worry if you've already received the email with shipping/tracking info from Apple.
My order on Apple.com has reverted back to ‘shipped’ and has matching delivery dates with UPS tracking again. Looks like the bug was resolved.

Still down for me too. I guess mine hasn’t shipped yet, CC charged 2 days ago now, as I usually get notices from UPS and FedEx.

Back to the waiting game... My 2020 base MBP 16-512 died yesterday. (Plugged it in for the night, it shut down and never turn on again)

I ordered a 10th gen i5 16-512 model scheduled for June 1st.

Damn that sucks.... What's your delivery time frame from Apple?
I'd try to see what Apple could do on their end...

Apple order is still quoting May 19-21, but that never lined up with UPS until these delays happened. Going to see what happens Tuesday and go from there.

UK
i7/16/512 Silver
Ordered 4th May
Original delivery window 18th-26th May
Fixed delivery date given by Apple ever since then:- 26th May.

Order status back up for me this afternoon after 24hrs.
When I was last able to check, I had progressed to “Preparing to ship”, having been stuck on “Processing” for well over a week.

Now I see that it shipped with UPS yesterday and expected delivery is on Thursday, the 21st.

Pleased with that!

Yep looks like it's back up now.

Still on 'Processing' with estimated delivery 2020/05/18 - 2020/05/25. :/

For UPS is “export scan” in Shanghai the last scan before it leaves China? It’s been static for about 36hrs so I’m assuming it’s in transit to US?

So apparently “export scan” does not mean it left China. Now 2 ½ days later there was a “departure scan” from Shanghai. Usually I have found packages from Apple move much quicker than expected but not this time. Assuming everything is slower in a COVID-19 world.

I ordered 2 hrs after launch. 10th gen i7/16GB/1TB. Also having second thoughts about not getting 32gb. I don’t need 32gb now but maxing to 16gb on my 2012 15” rMBP helped it last all these years. But even then the extra RAM was $200 and not a ridiculous $400. If I reorder it may not even get here in the 2 week return window for the first one. Unless I order the “ultimate” config with 2TB which seems ready to ship but then we’re talking one pricey 13” laptop. Decisions decisions.

Wait the 8th or 10th gen? Either way that sucks. Sorry for you man and it’s also not great for the product. Hopefully it was an outlier.

Yep, mine also back to "processing" with a delivery date of june 2nd. Not sure why I got an exact date as opposed to many others. The wait is killing for this instant gratification kid.

Mine is weird. It shows an arrival scan after the departure scan from Shanghai China:

In Transit
05/15/2020 - 21:59
Shanghai, China
Arrival Scan

05/15/2020 - 21:44
Shanghai, China
Departure Scan

you would think it would have been the other way around?

FWIW, mine showed similar updates out of Shanghai. My order is now in Louisville, KY and should be here early next week so I wouldn’t worry in your case.

Hey massy can I ask you a further question? I just got the shipping confirmation by Apple and DHL says shipping information received yesterday. How long did it take for you (on DHL) to go from "shipping info received" to ‘shipped’ or something?

Seems to be a new way of doing things but don’t worry. When I ordered I was given a delivery window of between the 18th and 26th of May. After that, whenever I checked my order it gave me a fixed date, the 26th... until it shipped that is.

I have now been given a firm delivery date of the 21st. All good.

Been using this thread as a reference as I ordered a custom iMac and it got shipped from China to the UK. Shipped way earlier than Apples estimates but I’ve no idea what’s going on with UPS. I understand the global situation but I’m nervous my parcel has been in way too many trucks, boats and planes now, hoping Apple really protects the iMacs with a lot of packaging!

It was down as 21st May which was 2.5 weeks wait. Shipped it quickly and had an original date of Wed 13th from UPS. Then Tuesday 14th. Then it was mis sorted and due Friday 15th. And then it didn’t turn up and it now due Monday 18th.

The journey it’s taken is China > South Korea > Alaska > Germany > UK > France > Germany > UK > Germany > UK and atm its sat in the midlands so I am hoping early Monday morning it comes down south and is delivered.

Safe to say I wasn’t impressed with all the back and forth to mainland Europe it’s had 😂 seems to got from China to UK in 4 days and it’s now taken more than 5 days to get to my house
