Finally got round to sticking some stuff into DHL's app this morning. Oddly it just says "shipment information received in eindhoven - netherlands, The".
Unless its made some miracle trip from China to Netherlands yesterday bypassing all the customs issues, I'm assuming that just means its not had its first scan in China yet.
Update: still waitingUpdate: UPS think they have found my MBP. They delivered it to Amazon of all places (a fulfilment centre). It is sitting in a trailer full of parcels of Amazon stock. So, they need Amazon to unload the trailer and find my parcel, send it back to UPS who will return it to a UPS distribution hub for delivery to me. This could take up to 28 days!
At this point, I may be better asking Apple to ship out a replacement, which could be faster. Apple did say a replacement would "jump the queue" of other BTO machines (i.e. they'd build it faster), but it would still need to be shipped from China.
I understand these are difficult times, but this is pretty incompetent from UPS - delivering my MBP to the black hole of an Amazon warehouse.

spoke to Apple again today, now a full week after my order was supposed to be with me. Front line support apologetic but ultimately useless. They tell me a manager should call me by June 10th or 11th ("call backs are taking longer than usual").I now have a kind of mini-frustration at Apple's inability to achieve even the most basic thing: allow me to speak with someone who can sort out this mess. Given that they've had my money (quite a lot of it actually) since May 27th, you'd think a tier-2 sales support person could at least find time to speak to me.
I am at least reassured by the happy tales of others on this thread of MBPs arriving safely. It is a reminder that generally Apple gets things right. I just wish they would up their game in this instance.
Apple has changed estimated delivery date to "Arriving Soon". Anybody knows what does it mean?

Called to Apple about 5 times.. they are going to ship me new one at 16th of June and take mine back insteps... See what happened... but this experience is disgusting.. =(

Ordered a replacement MBP from Best Buy. $1599 vs $1799 from Apple. I made a mistake and did standard shipping, which is FedEx ground, so slow. And travels a very bizarre set of reporting points.
CONKLIN, NY -> NORTHAMPTON, PA -> HUNTINGDON, PA -> GENOA, OH -> CHICAGO, IL -> COUNTRYSIDE, IL -> NEOSHO RAPIDS, KS -> FRIONA, TX -> LEUPP, AZ
Some of these places are in the middle of nowhere and have 300 people or so. Truck drivers having some fun on the road?
Estimated to take 2 more days to get to me in the SF Bay Area, 25 miles from Cupertino.

I've got Monday 15 May from Apple and 12 June from UPS. You get a range until it ships then a date. I'm learning patience, I've had a package waiting to leave LA for the UK since 4 May and today it's gone to Chicago! Nice to see it's still around anyway
Update for my Best Buy order from 6/1. They reauthorized a charge to my credit card yesterday, so I am now seeing two charges for the same order. No movement on shipping status, still showing ship by 6/10.
Tomorrow!!! UPS just sent me an update and delivery is planned for TOMORROW!

I returned the same model you have. My only reason is I do a lot of video work with Premiere and it eats up memory. I wanted to future proof it so I sent it back and ordered the i7/32/1TB. I will say before I sent it back I encoded a 4 minute video with lots of layers and other special touches. It never got hot - a bit warm on the bottom but nothing alarming. The fans kicked in but I had to really listen for them. I would definitely request another one.

I hope you either live near where they ship from (mine came from near NYC) or paid for air shipping. Mine is taking 8 days to get to California via FEDEX Ground
I don't recall having the option to pay for expedited shipping unfortunately. Just tried ordering it again and the only option is free shipping. I really hope it comes from somewhere close to California, can't imagine waiting another 8 days.
It has been painful. But it supposed to be here on Wed 6/10 which was the original ship date on the order.

Frustrating when your delivery gets pushed back. I thought mine was in Sydney on Thursday last week but that was just the documents. It landed there yesterday made it to my local depot at 08:01 this morning but is not getting delivered until tomorrow.
I have my new Caldigit TS3+ ready to go so looks like it will be a late night tomorrow night to get it ready for a full day on Thursday.
