I'll be rooting for the Dodgers.
Next year (if the Cubs are not in it): Seattle, the only franchise to never appear in a WS.
I live near Seattle, and while my heart would like to see Seattle in the World Series, the reality is that the team is still in rebuilding mode.

For this WS, I am rooting for the Dodgers. Part of it is historical, part of it is location (West Coast team like Seattle), and Corey Seager (Dodgers Shortstop) is Kyle Seager's (Seattle Third Baseman) brother.

I have liked the Series so far, game 4 was great; falling down between 3rd and home and still scoring the winning run, who would have thought!

Curious move pulling Snell with all those strikeouts, weak contact, only 2 hits...
Forget pitch count, it's the World Series! ...an elimination game!!

On to more important matters - will DiBlasio block Cohen from buying the Mets? It seems the MLB ownership will approve him.

Let me see if I have this right - Justin Turner had an inconclusive test on Monday, yet he was allowed to play on Tuesday?!? Where were the health and safety protocols? How did he get the virus if the team was "bubbled" for the postseason? Something's fishy, either it's a false positive (which should have been treated as a positive anyway) or precaution was thrown to the wind. His Tuesday test came back positive and he was pulled from the game, yet somehow he made it back on the field for the celebration?

It's par for the course for MLB this year. What can go wrong, kinda did.

@hallux, Turner made it back onto the field for the celebration because he was not physically restrained. Security told him he could not go back out, but he did anyway.

Why was he even in the game to begin with.
A question that may never be answered. His "inconclusive" test should have been enough to keep him off the field, and it may have been if he wasn't Justin Turner, but because of who it was it seems some leeway was given.

ESPN baseball reporter Pedro Gomez dies at 58

I don't invest in the cult of celebrity, public figures, or that kind of stuff, and don't think much of ESPN now, as it is, but he did leave an impression during his coverage of Bonds' home run chase, and the fact that he was a genuinely good guy was reflected in his work.

Quite a shame.
Sadly ESPN announced it right as the Superbowl was ending.
