They definitely are biased towards Lewis, but not quite like the way Nico talks.Well the rest of the Sky team does the same, so he probably feels compelled to follow.![]()

Agree. I like David Caultard.I’m so glad I don’t watch the Sky coverage. Far too many nauseating personalities crammed in. Give me channel 4 highlights anyway of the week lol. Not that I have enough time to watch entire races these days anyway![]()
It’s his way of apologising for the WC he cheated him out of!They definitely are biased towards Lewis, but not quite like the way Nico talks.
I must be in a minority then, I love the Sky coverage. I literally watch every minute of the race weekend.
Hopefully lots of fans at tracks will return next year. I have an eye on the Austin & Miami races.
I used to watch the races in full but then I had kids and those weekends go too quickly as it is lol. I didn’t support the sport moving onto PPV back in 2011 either and felt the BBC coverage before it was some of the best we ever had. I always felt Coulthard kept Brundle in check too. It’s kind of sad how the F1 following in the UK diminished once full races went off terrestrial TV.

I had not yet looked closely at the layout of the Miami circuit, but if this is accurate, then yikes: Turn 1 Lap 1 could very likely be a clusterf**k of epic proportions.

Without much space/room/distance between the starting grid and Turn 1 I see all the cars closely grouped and lots of contact in 1/2. And being a street circuit, I would not foresee much run-off room, meaning multiple cars are lost before the opening lap is complete. Just a hunch. They might be better off running this course clockwise.
Have to disagree with that. You didn't get anywhere near as much sport on TV as you did before satellite TV.Ah, the Good Old Day of Terrestrial TV. It was a better time in sports coverage at least IMO.

I wish a deal would go through to get F1 on Amazon Prime, like they've talked about. I can't have Sky Q where I live and would love to watch it in UHD. Some of the footage on Drive to Survive is superb. But then it also depends who they have commentating as to how good it would be.
Liberty Media have made no secret of their desire to make F1 bigger in America. And one of the reasons they want it on a streaming service is to make it more accessible to try and draw in different people.I think you'll be surprised soon. Amazon want's F1 on Prime especially with another GP now in the US. They will make a deal at least for the US GP's at first IMO.
Yeah.P1 for Lewis
P2 for Max
P3 for Bottas
Barcelona is a favourite track for Lewis. Hard to see him not being on the top step tomorrow.
Whatever your opinion of him, 100 poles is impressive. He can deliver every 10th out of a car over a single lap better than anyone.
But timings wise, things are very close.
Netflix's Drive To Survive 3 does try hard to make Daniel Ricciardo a likeable character.
I personally think that Ricciardo pretends to be nice infront of a camera or in public, but is a complete ******* when there is no camera around him. Wastes so much time with jokes and choosing wrong fights like this.
If the media wants to shown the crashes as a spectacular reason to watch F1, it's because the racing has been boring lately and the drivers haven't put a good show on track lately (for me it is since 2007). The racing in F1 is lacklustre and this is reason why the media has only the crashes to show and attract interest from fans.
Lando Norris will become the same as Ricciardo in the future, if he doesn't stop with the jokes and focus more on his racing, because talent for that, he does have.
Joke less, drive more. Then when you have a world championship title, maybe you can relax a bit more and do some jokes around. Hamilton has 7 and can do whatever the f*** he wants to do, like write music or go to fashion events...
Ayrton Senna comes to my mind as the most focused ever racing driver in F1. Maybe he was just a lot obssessed with it, but his focus was undeniably great. He only started to play jokes when Gerhard Berger was around and playing jokes with eachother, and Senna had already won two titles, on his way to the last third title.
The frogs joke was a classic one:
Senna's revenge was to put a small piece of french cheese inside the air duct of Berger's hotel room. Nice one...
Other notable jokes:
- Berger replaced Senna's passport with a pornographic picture, resulting on Senna being on detention for 24h when he arrived at Argentina and showed his passport. The most incredible fact here is that Senna went through every airport customs without problems until Argentina, because, eh, he was Ayrton Senna. Senna took revenge by glueing all of Berger's credit cards together.
- Senna fulfilled Berger's shoes with shaving foam, causing Berger to arrive late to an event using sneakers. Berger then took revenge by fullfilling Senna's shoes with butter, causing him to arrive late to a party with Sid Watkins.
And then there is this:
Someone is clearly watching the wrong sport. Don't like it, don't watch it and stop moaning about it all the time.
What we see of anyone through the media is just a glimpse of what they're like, it's laughable to hear an armchair expert judge and tell them what they should/shouldn't be doing.
Never said they couldn't. My point is he moans about every aspect of the modern day F1, so seems a waste of his time watching it and then complaining online. In a discussion on the sport one should be able to voice their opinion of course. If someone finds it less interesting than in the past so be it.

OK chief. You specifically wrote don’t watch it.
Easy solution. Ignore. No need to be stressed out about it. If he dislikes every aspect, let them do theirs.
Armchair moaning about other armchair moaners is just losing your lifetime.
