Personally I couldn’t care less what it’ll be called, I’m just looking forward to upgrading from my 11 Pro.
I will keep my 11 Pro until Apple launches its flip/foldable iPhone. Aside of that, my 11 Pro is still working great, almost as well as first day, still with very good battery performance, and from my personal point of view I love rounded edges which I prefer by far instead of squared edges. And to be honest, I don’t see in next iPhone any major improvement I can’t live without it or that worth to abandon my beloved rounded edges of my 11 Pro.

The number 13 is deeply unlucky in China.

It's serious enough that building floors are often listed 11, 12, 14.

I suspect an 'iPhone 13' would sell less in China - and I'd be surprised if Apple use this model name.
13 is a unlucky number in just a part of china, most people got rid of this belief in modern society.
In contrast, I hear some Chinese friends say that people from western countries may think 13 is unlucky.
So there is a chance of iPhone 12s .

Actually the 13 thing is also American. We got a movie called "Friday the 13th"... Many Americans believe the number 13 is bad luck.

One of the most well known buildings in San Francisco used to be the Bank of America's previous World Headquarters. This building does NOT have floor 13. It goes up to floor 12, then there's an empty floor with different height compared to other floors. This floor has lots of building support equipments, most of which are HVAC, then there's a lot of more floors above it.
