Wow... the Bills were lucky, very lucky. And that last call sealed it. The runner was inches short, they called a new first down and didn't have enough evidence to proof otherwise. If they keep playing like that, that's it for them though.

I still don't understand OC's penchant for calling deep throws when you only need a few yards. Just not in this game, but league-wide.
that was my neighbor was saying, he mentioned Brady not doing that
I mean, I see doing ot once in a while, you might catch them off guard. But so many times, its 3rd or 4th down and 1 or 2, and they go 30 yards downfield in a low percentage pass. Drives me crazy.
OMG, I couldn't believe how they used up their timeouts, it altered the game near the end. They played better then I was expecting and truth be told, could have won, they were in the game and Buffalo was playing sloppy.
It reminds me of the patriots in the 70s with Steve Grogan. They'd tried to run the ball up the middle, get maybe one yard and then they'd try a 40 yard pass, which of course didn't connect. The Miami QB needed to have more plays that were safer and had higher odds to succeed. Its great that they connected on some long passes but they struggled at times keeping drives alive.
As for the Raven's and Cincy game, I didn't watch it, I was footballed out by then, but keeping an eye on the score, they had a very real chance to win. I thought Cincy failed to take control of the game. They lucked out with that fumble on the 2 yard line.
I didn't have a dog in that race, so I didn't really care who won, but I will say this about the Raven's. I think there's going to be some locker room drama once Lamar Jackson returns. I mean if they were beating Cincy and were a hair's breath from taking control of the game, then the thinking is, how much more dominant could they have been with Jackson. There's been grumblings already inside the locker room and most definitely outside of the locker room. Sometimes you have to pull up your big boy pants and go out there.
If there was ever an example of 1 play changing a game, that was it.
That Jags game was unbelievable. Watching it in a bar in San Diego... boy you could hear a pin drop by the time that last kick was up! Loved it.
Predictions for tonight?
If I were a Cowboy's fan I would be really nervous giving Brady the ball in a one score game in the last 2 minutes.
Just saw Bosa talking about ref accountability. How about Bosa accountability for throwing a tantrum and costing your team 15 yards?
The Dolphin's Qb missed several receivers who were open more than once. It was driving me nuts. By missed I mean he simply didn't see them .
Yeah, but he's a rookie, and up until recently he was the third string QB - granted He's no Brock Purdy but he was thrown into an impossible situation
I never seen anything like that. Four missed extra points in a row. He's got the yips.

Well now we come to the silly season - where everyone obsesses over Tom Brady's future. Here's my prognostication. He's returning and he'll be coy on where, just to keep his name being uttered by espn and the like.
Agreed, I thought he did ok, the Dolphins certainly made a game of it.
