I thought the Bucs defense and special teams did’t put up much of a showing against the Chiefs. The kick-off returner loses the ball on the opening kick, and the Chiefs have an easy drive to the red zone and score a touchdown. 7-0. End of the first quarter 21-3. They gave up way too many easy points in the first half, and were lucky to only go down 41-31. Much-vaunted defense has some learning to do.

The Eagles were good for a win against the Jaguars and are now the only undefeated team with a 4-0 record. Beginning to wonder what their whole-season tally will look like.

He did not look good at all after that hit/thrown down to the ground tackle. The way his hands and arms were, yeah it looked like he was hurt pretty bad.
The NFL announced that they are looking to change their concussion protocols, but what about on-field play? They've made rule changes in the past to protect the QB, but it's obviously not enough.

Bucs looked pretty average last night. Chiefs showed they are still the class of the AFC (And maybe Football) Kelce was all over the place last night and some of the throws from Mahomes were unreal.

The Eagles haven't played anyone decent yet.

KC and the Bills (when half their defense comes off injury - 6 starters were out the last few weeks) are the class of football. The Bills D has played great, even with second and third stringers.

So will Matt Rhule last the season? His job is riding on the success of Baker Mayfield, and he's not playing very well.

Just saw the pick-6. Stafford looks terrible, tonight and all season. Maybe his age is catching up with him (not all QBs can be a freak like Tom Brady.) The Rams might be looking for a new QB next season.

Thought it was really interesting that the Niners would beat the Rams so convincingly. The Niners defense looked really good.
Two weeks ago when the niners lost, I thought the season was lost for them, now they're looking potent. Conversely though, the Rams have looked really bad at times. I'm not sure who's fault it is, the Rams making the Niners look good, or the Niners making the Rams look bad.

The Rams offense was pretty much full-strength, Kupp, Higbe, Stafford, but they weren’t getting traction or touchdowns. I’m not sure about the personnel in the offensive line, Stafford was getting sacked and pressured a lot. But the Rams haven’t played so well in their other games either.

I guess we will find out when both sides play more quality teams.

I think in someways, the rule changes got us here.

In the old days linemen would do what they could to land on the QB. Have them hit the ground and then land on them giving them in essence, a double hit. But now they have have to hit them in a way to not land on them, so they wrap them up from the side and take them down. But it seems that this is causing more QB's to hit their head harder on the turf.

I think that they shouldn't be allowed to spin the QB around and fling him to the ground, as happened to Tua. They need to figure out a new "QB tackle" that doesn't require another body part to hit the turf. For a QB that can run though, that's tricky.

Terrible isn't the word. The whole team looks off in my opinion, I don't know if I would put it all on Stafford, however he is the QB.

Yeah, but even last season, Stafford tied with Trevor Lawrence for the lead in interceptions, with 17. This year, he is on a pace for 25.

Agreed, and opposing teams are paying extra attention to Cooper Kupp, so that option is often taken away. It’s always difficult to come back looking sharp and hungry after winning the Super Bowl, maybe it’s just that — hangover from too much partying.

It always bothered me that the Patriots seemed to be the exception to that rule.

Is Jimmy G going to be the 49er starter from here on out?

Is Cooper Rush going to win the starting job in Dallas? He's the 1st Cowboy QB in their history to win his first 4 starts...

Cooper Rush has ZERO chance of being the starter once Dak is back (of which whom Dallas led the league in scoring offiense.)

But Dallas has been running the ball more to compensate for Rush and that game plan looks to be winning for them. I wouldn't be surprised if Dallas keeps running the ball more, even with Dak back.

Prior to the season, I am guessing that, on paper, Broncos vs Colts, Russ vs Ryan, looked good. In reality...not so much.

Gawd, that was 3.5 hours of my life I'll never get back. 😒 🙄 This was the worst American football game I've seen since Iowa beat South Dakota State 7-3 at the beginning of the college football season.

With the game being on Amazon, the joke going round the internet: can we return the game to Whole Foods? We changed our mind.

The chatter in Denver is really bad, it seems people are seething over Hackett regarding his poor coaching and odd decisions. If any coach is going to be dismissed mid-season, I can see Hackett going, simply because the new owners are probably so angry.

I never understood the propensity for NFL coaches to go for 20 yards when they only need 1. If Denver runs the ball to get the first down, which they were doing effectively, they probably win that game.
