The chatter in Denver is really bad, it seems people are seething over Hackett regarding his poor coaching and odd decisions. If any coach is going to be dismissed mid-season, I can see Hackett going, simply because the new owners are probably so angry.

While I agree Hackett hasn’t looked good, he isn’t the only problem.

Turnovers & penalties are hurting the team. Wilson has been missing wide open receivers, and the receivers are dropping too many passes.

Denver better hope Russell figures out his bleep, otherwise they are on the hook for 161 million guaranteed for a mediocre QB.

Russ had surgery for a bum shoulder just now. Is that the reason for his bad performance? Or does he have the yips?

Edit: At first, I saw he had surgery. Now it says he won't get it. Not sure which is true.

He seems to think it will happen.

Play calling is 💩.
That's for sure! That Colts game was sad. I watched the Replay on NFL Network, but just the last 8 minutes or so. The Broncos' play caller is a slow learner! The same dumb call twice in less than 10 minutes… They should get 2 losses for that game.

My bet is on the Rams, no matter how much I’d like to see a backup QB save the day (Patriots anyone?).

But what a comeback by the Giants. That stupid look on Rodgers face at the end… priceless.

Rams are done. They just look terrible all season.

I wish someone would beat Philadelphia to shut their fans up. They are NOT the best team in the league. They are good this season, but not the best. Buffalo and KC still hold that distinction.

I think Philly is better than people want to admit. I think Hurts can be an elite QB... I could be wrong, I have been before.

IMHO Philly fans are the worst.

I'm not saying Phil isn't good. But they aren't the best team in the league. As the year goes on, and injuries pile up, their depth is suspect.

Refs will do anything to protect Brady. Total BS call, Falcons were robbed.
Totally, I hate when refs are the ones that determine the outcome of a game. Total BS call.

The patriots did well to hold the zero over the lions
It is the Detroit Lions, having the Pats win over that franchise was more or less expected. The team is a far cry from a few years ago. I do think at this point its better to start off fresh, with new leadership, but then when you see how many franchises are struggling to find a good HC, who would they get (I think BB is too old at this point however)

I agree, but also understand why after two QB's were concussed by similar take downs. Brady just happened to land on his side, had he landed on his back, he might be in protocol.

So will Matt Rhule last the season? His job is riding on the success of Baker Mayfield, and he's not playing very well.
I need to play the lottery, LOL. So Rhule is out.

I can see how this does make sense, they can get a jump start on the coach search before others.

The hits keep on coming for the Panthers,

Looks like Mayfield is out with an injured ankle. Of course that doesn't really mean much as he largely failed to impress, which ultimately cost Rhule his job

Agreed. I thought Baker would be better than he has been in Carolina.
