Everyone going nuts about the 70 points in the Dolphins game. But hey, they played the Broncos so that's not surprising. The real game of the week happened when the Cardinals destroyed the Cowboys... the Cardinals!
He was released and then signed on to the Patriots practice squad, so he's still available.Edit: Although I just heard that Zappe was waived a few weeks ago and Mac Jones is the only QB on the Patriots roster?
What other questionable things has he done?NFL is looking into Sauce Gardner’s claim that Mac Jones hit him in the “private parts”
I don't know if there's any credence to this accusation, but Mac Jones has done other questionable things, and so I think this is something that fits his behavior. The more I see him play the less I like him. He lacks character and maturity and isn't markedly improving the Patriots, but instead causing distractions.
I haven't bothered to look but are the RAIDERS on the Dolphins schedule? Because this could happen again if so... lolFor our watching enjoyment
As a Dolphins fan, I just assume that they will be the best team not to make the playoffs (to ensure the worst possible draft pick) or the first team eliminated from. This has been true for most of the last couple of decades.Everyone going nuts about the 70 points in the Dolphins game. But hey, they played the Broncos so that's not surprising. From your lips...er...fingers, to God's ... um ... eyes.Nope.
Dolphins vs Eagles SB...
I think too much is being made of the 70 points, and while I don't want to take anything away from the fins, there's a whole season left to play and I think that 70 point game could hang around their neck like an albatross. Meaning they may have difficulty living up to unrealistic expectations and every team will be gunning for them.Dolphins vs Eagles SB...
A coach would have to be crazy to want Kap on the team. I can't imagine anything worse for a team that wants to focus on the games and winning. Now, winning is largely off the table for the Jets, so an owner may want to generate headlines and hype for an otherwise lost season. But I'm not sure the race-based lawsuits/allegations will be worth it when Kap fails, as he undoubtedly would. What do you guys think of Kap practically begging to be added onto the Jets practice squad. Without getting into PRSI, his prior actions were such that no owner wants to deal with media clown show that would result in his signing, nevermind the blowback from many fans.
As for his abilities, I think the practice squad is his best shot at returning, he's been out of the game some 5 years, a lot has changed in both the game, and his abilities (both from aging and not using his talents)
Agreed, the media frenzy would be swirling around him, and distracting the playersA coach would have to be crazy to want Kap on the team
I'm not following any of the lawsuits, but its hard to sign someone who's basically suing youBut I'm not sure the race-based lawsuits/allegations
The Bills should be a good test (but that opening week loss was painful).I think too much is being made of the 70 points, and while I don't want to take anything away from the fins, there's a whole season left to play and I think that 70 point game could hang around their neck like an albatross. The proof will be in the pudding, but they're a young team with a lot of pressure, not all teams can handle that.
Yeah, and the AFC East always plays each other really hard. I find that many young teams play very flat after an decisive victory and its really up to the coaching staff to keep them on point. Lets see how they respond after such a huge victory. The Bills should be a good test (but that opening week loss was painful).

Seriously. After one game they were giving Miami the Lombardi trophyHopefully, this will put an end to the "Invincible Miami offense" talk. Miami isn't going anywhere with that terrible defense.
You know, watching Sunday Night Football...I like Taylor Swift, I'm a fan, but I'm not sure if I'm watching NFL coverage or TMZ. The networks would lose their bleep if the media coverage constantly referred to the love lives of one of their female reporters and made jokes about it. Enough already.
Well, at least they can properly explain the basics everyone needs to understand. 😂You know, watching Sunday Night Football...I like Taylor Swift, I'm a fan, but I'm not sure if I'm watching NFL coverage or TMZ.
