o m g!

wow.
Everyone who stayed for that game should get free SB tickets from the NFL!
For da Bears superfans, last night game was the highlight of the season. Not only did da Bears win, the improved their shot at the #1 over pick in 2024.

Y'all have to feel bad for the Panthers fans. Monday morning quarterbacking, but...

I felt it was a bad deal when they traded away their best WR in the process. If--*IF*--Caroline still had Moore, Young would at least have two viable targets.

While CJ Stroud is looking a lot better right now, Carolina fans can't give up hope. Lots of QBs looked like garbage at first. Elway, Peyton, Josh Allen...

CJ went into a better situtation overall. I believe Young would be enjoying a better season if he had been drafted by the Texans. Right now, he's trying to be Superman and forcing throws. CJ has the luxury of trusting his WR to get open. If you watch the 3 games where Stroud struggled, the D had his receivers blanketed.

I blame the Carolina brass. They traded away the best WR on the team. Yeah, the Panthers picked a WR in the 2nd round, but Mingo hasn't lived up to the 2nd round billing. Other than Thielen, he doesn't have any real targets.

Troy Aikman went 0-11 as a rookie. He went on to win 3 Superbowls. I credit Jimmy Johnson for built a solid team around him by acquiring draft capital--including 18 picks😲 in 1991.

The Panthers don't have many pieces or much draft capital. It's going to be a long couple of years before we can see Young live up to his potential.

Maybe Young needs a QB whisperer, like Josh Allen had. Terrible completion percentage, now top two in the NFL. Also, getting yourself a ball vacuum cleaner Diggs helps too :)

One of the talking heads said Young is starting to show some bad habits that he didn't show at Alabama. If they don't fix that soon, Carolina is going to ruin him.

At this point, I just hope the Browns don't completely embarrass themselves on Sunday at Baltimore. It's going to be tough. I do expect it to be a closer game than the first matchup, if for no other reason than Dorian Thompson-Robinson isn't the Browns' starting QB this time.

I feel like the Ravens have really found themselves here lately so it may be a rough outing for the Browns.
