Mahomes gets lots of free calls too, like that non-roughing the passer hit when he was still in bounds. At least the offsides was legit.
The Chiefs are 8-5 and a good lock on a playoff spot. For the Chiefs, I guess that's "adversity." What will happen if the Chiefs ever face real adversity, like missing the playoffs? Yikes.
AND get a Home game in the first round.
Generally if a WR asks the LJ, they will get confirmation they are OK. But you have to ask. Can't see where he did.

I noted that several sportscasters on streaming SI, YouTube, etc. MENTIONED Mahomes losing his cool but not one of them REPLAYED the incident. I wondered if there was some kind of legality that it couldn't be shown again.
If I were Mahomes, I wouldn't want my temper tantrum to be replayed again and again. I'm glad he semi-apologized to Josh Allen because that really was out of line.
I'm wondering if maybe the fame and celebrity-like status has gotten to their heads a little.... Last couple of years they've been the premiere team in the league and pretty much put on a pedestal.. then you can't go 5 minutes without seeing one of them in a commercial... Then this season it has ramped up x10000 with the whole Taylor Swift thing.

I'm sorry to hear this; I like Justin because I watched him at Oregon, but they definitely were a disaster this season..it was hard to watch.
What is it with the Chargers? They have so many offensive weapons. Even an anerage defense should make them a playoff team. Yet, year after year, mediocrity.
He owned up to it today, so I think he's still a decent guy and will let bygones be bygones.
A lot of times, people will give half-hearted non-apologies or try to play it off as passion, or some other BS excuse.
A day late, but he took responsibility, said what he did was wrong, set a bad example and will try to learn from it, which is what needed to be said. But what about Reid?
Don't forget, the team is owned by the Spanos family, which gives the Davis family a run for their money. Including civic wars in the owners' suite.
Hire the wrong people, then hold on to them. Staley should have been canned a couple years ago. A talented team, good enough to be tantalizing, but with a defensive coach in charge, who makes some very odd decisions at the worst times.
Defensive head coach. Of the 14 teams currently sitting in playoff spots, 11 have offensive head coaches. Not a coincidence.
tis a bit ironic that bad defense, pass defense in particular, is the thing hurting them
IIRC...Staley is in year 3 of a 4 year contract, so if the Spanos family follows their previous pattern, they'll let him finish out the contract instead of paying him to go away while they pay somebody else to coach
Tonight on Prime: The Raiders vs The Chargers. Two teams with the same losing record. Two teams that have recently been discussed on this thread. So...who are you putting your money on? (Figuratively, of course 😀)
Raiders for sure... With Herbert and Allen both out I don't really know how the Chargers do anything.
