Preseason and "sit" games should be cheaper for the fans. That's my main argument, as the NFL can't make teams play guys.

The Bills have to win. The Bills need the 2 seed. Even if they make the playoffs as the wildcard, if they have to go on the road, they won't go very far. But if they have home field until at least the AFC championship, then they may have a chance.

I think fans rather pay full price to watch backups... Than to have one of their key superstar players get injured in a meaningless game right before the playoffs.

Like could you imagine if Lamar Jackson had started yesterday and gotten hurt? you think Baltimore fans are going to care about what they paid for a ticket at that point?

Unfortunately its part of the game and regular season football is still pretty darn entertaining even with some backups in there.

as a raiders fan since the 87 one day we wont suck haha, i remember being in New England for the Raiders Vs Pats game in the "tuck" rule i had amazing tickets and still believe we would have won the super bowl that year, and then 2002 Vs Tampa John new every damn play that was coming couldn't believe it! Oh and Derek Carr wasn't the problem with the Raiders it was coaching the last 2 years we were finally getting over the hill and Mark decided he doesn't care about winning... he wants a big name coach just like he'll do this year instead of keeping AP my rant is over haha! sorry or being off topic
Yeah that SB vs the Bucs was crazy, I've read that we, THE RAIDERS, didn't even change any of our call/audibles signals. Their D was just sitting on top of every call.

Aw man the 'tuck rule' game. ugh.

I agree somewhat with your assessment on DC. A little stability would have been nice.

Though I pay attention, I haven't watched more than a couple games in years. As I lifelong Cowboys fan their winning the east has pulled me back in a little, hence the avatar change, though I never forget their ability to crush my soul.

It's so hard for me to root for the Huskies after they beat us twice this year but...as my family has pointed out to me, they ARE from our conference and the Pacific Northwest. I don't really care for Michigan so I'm just going to hope for a good game tomorrow. Michigan is favored by quite a large percentage.

Yeah, I prefer Wash, but I wouldn't mind if Michigan wins. As long its not the SEC :)

So... some interesting games ahead. I guess no one cares about the Texans vs Browns, but I think Browns got this.
Bills vs Steelers should got to the Bills. Lions win over Rams, Cowboys will dominate Packers.
That leaves Chiefs vs Dolphins and I have to go with the Chiefs, but it really depends if they show up to the game and I think the lost another WR... so knock on wood. And then there's Eagles vs Buccs... I'd normally go with the Eagles, but my gut is telling me something funny is going to happen. Let's see how that finger looks next week.

I have this nagging feeling that the Steelers are going to pull an upset on the Bills..... Also Lions - Rams is going to be an interesting one. the Rams are sneaky good and have some nice weapons on Offense. Plus McVay knows Goff really well and may figure out a way to stop him... Other than that i agree with everything else.

With TJ Watt out (it looks like,) I refuse to believe Mason Rudolph beats the Bills at home. I don't see Detroit losing at home either. Cleveland's tough but Houston seems to be on a mission. KC uses it's playoff experience to come back to life. Miami's kind of a fraud to begin with. Eagles are finished. Cowboys are safe, as long as they are at home.

Browns are my sleeper pick to make it to the AFC Champeenship. I think their defense gives them a legit shot, and they have beaten the Ravens once this year, if I recall. I'm a Niners fan, so my chips are in that basket, but I dont think it was smart sitting Purdy for the last game. I'd have liked to see it treated like a pre-season game - get a couple series in, then sit. but, thats probably why I'm not a HC in the NFL!

Yeah, I don't see Miami going to the cold in KC and beating them while in playoff mode.
Wasn’t it defences win championships? And Miami has been a bit porous of late. Still the KC offence hasn’t been firing on all cylinders and it may turn into a bit of a slugfest. Think it should be a close game.

I just think KC is playoff-experienced and, having won a couple of Super Bowls, knows how to turn it on at the right time. Miami folded in the second half of the Bills, when it counted. I think the Bills playoff experience helped.

Plus, Miami does not play well in the cold, based on past seasons.

So far just Rivera and Smith. Really expected a couple more.

I know Michael Wilbon is bound to be mad as Eberflus looks to be coming back in 2024. As does Allen in New Orleans.

I agree, KC are probably favourites. But they haven’t been in good form the last few games, and if the receivers don’t play well, we will have to see.

I’m hoping for a few close games from the Wildcard round.

Titans fired Mike Vrabel. I was not expecting that one..... If they think the HC was their problem then they are sadly mistaken... I think this was a dumb move on their part.. Unless they have some "back room deal" in place with Harbaugh or Belichick to come in.

Could you imagine if Belichick came over! The patriot fandom would lose their minds!
