Is Josh Allen this generation's tragic sports figure? A'la Dan Marino..... He puts up incredible stats, seemingly an elite franchise QB... But seems destined to get eliminated in the playoffs every season.

Josh is a good QB. Maybe even great. But Mahomes is better. Allen, once again, tried to play hero ball at the end and went downfield several times, when open stuff underneath was ignored - something Mahomes doesn't do.

For twenty years, a better QB and team, Brady and the Patriots, terrorized the Bills and now it will be Mahomes and the Chiefs for the next 20.

This is what killed me about Josh... They/he seemed to go away from what was working and just screwed themselves. To me that last quarter was horrible play calling all the way around on the part of the Bills.

Allen isn't the only one suffering that fate. Ask that moron Rodgers.

I'm not sure if the Bills will be kicked out of the playoffs in the next 20 years. They seem like a solid team, but lack the "superstars" that stand out and win the games. Those come at a price though and usually go where the most money is. That's why Hill moved on from the Chiefs to the Dolphins. The money they're paying Von Miller is hurting them. He's not doing that much.

Right now I think the Bills are #3, or #4 behind the Ravens and Chiefs. And maybe the Bengals when healthy.

At that point it takes a bit of luck. But the Bills need an OC that gels with Allen so he doesn't have to play hero ball.

Agreed with the comments on the 4th Q of the Bills game.

But next weeks Lions v 49ers game isn’t a gimme either. Without Deebo Samuel the offence is a lot weaker and it could go either way.

The Bills are getting older. Diggs is 30. LT Dawkins and All-Pro Milano are 30 next year or so. Pro bowl safeties Poyer and Hyde sound like they are getting ready to leave. And the Bills are $40 million in the red on salary cap.

I think the Lions can take this one. But it's not Deebo that's the worry. They have to slow down McCaffrey.

Texas @ Ravens - This should be a great game, this Texans team looks legit and they hit the lotto with Stroud (sorry Panthers fans, this one must sting) But I think the Ravens prevail because they're just too good and harbaugh will have them well prepared

Packers @ 49ers - Packers looked really good, but I think they also benefited from a lot of breakdowns and miscommunication by the Dallas secondary. Don't think that will happen against SF, and the SF offense will be alot better than what they got from Dallas... I think SF rolls in this one.

Buccaneers @ Lions - I have a sneaky feeling about this one... I feel like last weeks game was so emotionally draining for the Lions with Stafford coming back, Goff facing the Rams who let him go unceremoniously and the fact that it was their first home playoff game in decades. If Bowles has a good defensive plan the Bucs might be able to steal this one. I am feeling an upset.

Chiefs @ Bills - Ugh Mahomes is becoming so insuferable to watch... He is whining and yelling at the refs almost every single play that doesn't go his way. Like he wants a flag each time they don't get positive yards... its getting really old and and annoying.... However I dislike the Bills more so for my own selfish reasons will pick the chiefs to go in there and continue their playoff dominance over the Bills... I could see a signature Allen game with 2+ interceptions.

Alright I went 3-1 in the divisional round and I'm 8-2 overall in the playoffs..

Going very boring and predictable for Conference Championship round... I know this is rare, but I think the top seeds advance to the Superbowl this week:

Ravens over the Chiefs - Chiefs have looked good in the playoffs after faltering a bit in the regular season (or at least by their standards) But they played a depleted dolphins team in freezing temps... and a Bills team with injuries as well in a tight game... I think the Ravens are firing on all cylinders and as long as playoff choking Lamar doesn't show up the Ravens should win a good game. They just have to make sure to have a nice cushion and avoid having the ball in Mahomes hands at the end with a chance to win it.

49ers over the Lions - the fairytale ends on Sunday for the lions. 49ers got a little scare from the Packers and the Lions seem to be rolling on offense... But they haven't faced a defensive front that put pressure on them and Goff has looked like Brady out there with all the time in the world to throw.... I think that changes on Sunday. they will face a much better defense and on the road..... If the 49ers have Deebo and CMC healthy I think they roll and its not a close game... but if Deebo can't suit up it may be another nail biter like this past weekend, but I think the 9ers still pull it out.

The Superbowl logo conspiracy theory lives on.

I think the Ravens romp. The Bills, literally playing people straight off the couch (their starting middle LB and playcaller was called from his home in Arizona for the playoffs,) missing 6 starters, came this close to winning that game. Not only are the Ravens a better team than both the Bills and KC, but the Ravens don't have the injuries the Bills had.

I think Detroit can win this game. The Packers also almost won their game and Detroit is a better team than TB.

Did they really? Remove that fumble through the endzone (that rule needs to be changed) and a couple of other things and the Chiefs may have won by 2 TD's. Watching it, it didn't seem as close as the score indicated.

I wonder if SF overlooked them a bit. And Detroit should have beaten TB by 2+ TD's just based on the way they played.

But you can't take plays out. Otherwise, I can just as easily say if the Bills make that FG, and hit Diggs on that long play, then the Bills win by 7. The game was as close as the score was. Especially considering the Bills had the lead for most of the first half.

And I disagree about the rule. It's fine as it is. Don't fumble out of the endzone. If you change it, to what? People want to change it, but no one can agree to what.

It just seems like a huge penalty. The situation during the game is a perfect example. Had he fumbled it out at the 1, they get the ball at the 1. But since he fumbled it out of the end zone, Buffalo got the ball going back the other way.

Because of 1 yard or so.

I think if you fumble it out of the endzone, it goes to either the spot of the fumble or the 1. Whichever is least advantageous to the offense.

And don't get me started on offsetting PF penalties. There needs to be some penalty for both teams. I suggest that the offending players when PF penalties are offsetting are removed from the game for at least 1 play, but would prefer the remainder of the possession. Make it an actual penalty.

I think like a safety. If you get tackled in the end zone, the other team gets two points AND the ball. You don't say "Oh, just put it at the one yard line." That's why I'm OK with the rule. The rule should be harsh.

What you suggest for offsetting PFs makes sense, Sit out a play or whatever. Or similar to a college rule - out for the game and the first half of the next. Make it harsh. And if someone gets a regular penalty and the other side gets a PF, PFs should always ovrride a regular penalty.

I'd love to see the Lions in the SB, even if they don't win it, at least that takes another 0-0 SB record off the bottom of the list.

Of the four that haven't been yet, three were in the post season.

CLE, DET, TEX, JAC

And we had potential to knock two off that list!

Not even close :)
91 to 94 had a much tougher go by far with 4 Super Bowls and not a win.

Yeah, Jm Kelly never won the big game. Teased, but never won.
