2023-2024 NFL Thread

I have enough trouble reading these posts and keeping the "B" teams straight..Bucs/Buf/Balt. It's about 40 to game time. I'm mostly hoping for a better game than yesterday although the 49ers/GB game turned out to be worth watching even if the team I wanted didn't win (Never thought I'd say THAT in reference to Green Bay!). ;)

Oh and there is one more B to keep in mind: B. Mayfield. Uhhgggggg. Let's go Lions!

I hope the Bills can keep this up; I REALLY don't want KC in the SB this year. Everytime Kelce caught a pass or made his TD I'd say "Cue Taylor" and sure as snot there she was dancing around in the suite. 🤮 Why does this annoy me so much? I can't answer that. Maybe because I believe this whole thing is just another ploy to make money. When people get tired of it, and it's no longer making bank, I'm betting the "romance" is off.

Bills can't stop Mahomes, Kelce or Pachecko (no punts). Too many injuries, literally playing backups to backups, especially at LB.

It probably didn't matter. Mahomes would have just went down the field to win it anyways. Too many Bills drops, too little run defense, too many injuries, Diggs disappeared...

Nah, I think they would have stopped him. Coin toss in overtime is luck, then score the first TD. We’ve seen it before… 13 seconds.
 
Chiefs v Bills wasn’t really a great game for neutrals, mostly because of the Bill’s strategy of eating up the clock. Chiefs couldn’t stop Cook, Bills couldn’t stop Pacheco, Kelce, or Mahomes. But the game didn’t really flow, you know?

Watching the replay of Bass' kick is it just me or did it look like that ball got hit with a gust of wind towards the end there? it was going relatively straight with the pole then suddenly veered right like it got hit with a gust of wind.

The wind was blowing pretty strong before he kicked it so yeah...

Just wait... I have a really funny feeling about the upcoming games. Similar to the early Eagles and Ravens games.
Plus, they already showed on TV that the SB will happen with the 49ers and the Ravens. Normally I'd say that was a stupid mistake but if it actually happens, it will spark another "scripted NFL" discussion.

I just want the refs not to call BS or lack of calls to get one team where they don't belong.

As for a potential 49ers vs Chiefs SB, I'd love to see it. Rematch of SB LIV. I have no preference there, they both deserve it. But I'd have to go with the 49ers, because I like the Purdy story and after he was injured by the Eagles last year, it would be a perfect comeback.
