I'm not a Raven's fan either, so I don't care what LaMar does, but he's the freakin' qb for crying out loud, seems to me it might be helpful to have him at practice. And, yeah, then there's the money...just say that it makes me kind of ill as I can't even imagine being able to say "Nah, I'll pass...you keep the $750,000. Don't even get me started on what these guys make to begin with.

The whole thing just rubs me the wrong way.
Damn dude like "It's only 750,000" man what id do to even remotely get half of that to just show up somewhere and throw a ball around and maybe lift some weight

Right? I always had this idea (I don't know where it came from) that Lamar was a humble sort of guy; a real team player. This has definitely changed THAT notion and I won't be doing any rooting for the Ravens this season.

LOL.

You know it's a slow time in the offseason, when the new season doesn't start for the better part of three months, and one story is written about the idle speculation in some remarks by another writer, based on an off hand remark on social media.

This doesn't even rise to the rumor-level, where there's real chatter attributable to "inside sources." Just some daydreaming to fill the column inches.

Involving players who have yet to participate in a training camp, never mind play in a game.

I'd question whether Pittsburgh's front office should be fired on the spot, if it ever seriously considers shipping a 3rd round pick to Cleveland for a green-as-can-be rookie originally drafted in the 6th round, who has never played a down in the NFL.

It has already cast its lot with a 41-year old QB (newlywed! poor girl…) looking to soothe his soul, albeit on a one-year deal that does indicate there is some common sense in the building.

Or, maybe it's just Showtime who is pulling the strings behind-the-scenes, fighting back against the vast anti-Sanders Family conspiracy that resulted in his son almost going undrafted.

Until proven otherwise, both stories have about the same probability of being true.

I truly believe Sheduer is going to do better in the NFL than most people want him to.

He'll do it just out of spite.

Good on him too.

I see him starting for the browns at some point this season. I also expect him to be a decent journeyman type QB, not great, not bad. He'll give you 8 wins, but don't expect much in terms of playoffs.

His greatest downside is his arrogance, and entitlement, its quite possible, that with his daddy no longer holding his hand for once he'll actually mature and grow out of that attitude.

I don't doubt that he can, and good from him if he does.

But if he was perceived by the teams to be worth a 3rd round pick, he would have been drafted in the 3rd; he wasn't.

It would be dumb to retroactively make that pick now.

The risk/reward ratio makes the 1st and 2nd rounders worth the larger gamble.

The 3rd round is where the real hidden gems can be taken. Kelce was a 3rd round pick. Fred Warner. Joe Montana, among others.

Particularly in the salary cap era, teams can't afford to have stars at every position, but rosters must still be filled, with the solid, but not spectacular, journeymen players found in the middle rounds. Get it wrong here and it makes life much harder.

At least one the games start, and players…play, there will be something real to talk about.

You need some industrial grade brass balls to do this level of trolling. It is bulletin board worthy motivational stuff when a Division rival insults the intelligence of your front office. I see the Browns going 0-2 vs the Steelers this year.😆

This is elite style trolling... my god. And yes, those things are not only brass, but huge!!!
