what a great season for the 'canes who technically should not be there.
that Bain is insane! he tosses 300 lb linemen like rag dolls.
Lucas not playing the first half was detrimental, word!
when Carson tossed that lame duck at the end I knew the season was over B4 the catch.

personally the game was great
but too much typical anger and pettiness from both sides we see too often in contact sports.
the 4 game run was daunting and very tiresome, I tried to care in the fourth 1/4 but could not.
I turned the game off after they shook hand vowing never to watch 4 games again.
every good play a hoosier made, Kurt would state the last school they played for.
so much for recruiting I guess?
their average age was 24.

this college football system aint your older brothers anymore!

Glad to see that team from Florida go down...

So that was fun... now we wait a few months until the start of the 2026 season!!!
I will try to watch it tonight. I also heard there a couple blatant late hits on Mendoza earlier that were missed, one of which might have been targeting.

I heard this morning that Mendoza is a Miami native, who after wanted a walk-on tryout at Miami but was denied.

As for what Indy did, from what I heard on the radio, it wasn't loading up on established seniors, it was try-hard guys who were solid, 2nd tier talent (so not the most sought after) so he could get a ton of quality depth and upgrades.

Looks like the grass isn't always greener - looks like some of these players are learning a life lesson
That was exactly what I heard. Thursday or Friday on ESPN radio, I think on the Bitch Eisen show, they had a guy who knew the college scene well. They talked about what Indiana had done with the portal. I think he said there were 10K+ players in the portal and the majority of which don't get picked up and have to beg for their spot back, which in a lot of cases doesn't happen.

Here is a recording of what I am talking about. Its college analyst Josh Pate with Eisen.
Great stuff.

LOL, the guy you were referencing.

I meet many Indiana fans this weekend, about 15 or so (season ticket holders)
who just went with the flow as what a "great team they built these past seasons",
while the several Michigan-Wiscy-OSU fans I chatted with knew that
Indy just fortified-built that team (with 23 portal plays all made great plays yesterday) over this spring.

this is college football these last several years as we won't see freshman starting or stars that much
tho UMiami has several (12 so far) 17-18 year olds who might start or play next season.

Oregon-Wiscy-LSU will portal their way to the playoffs next season hoping to carbon copy Indy.
hopefully I will be too occupied with other matters to watch NCAA throw-ball anymore.

Yes, in fact his coach complained to the sideline reporter about three late hits on the QB that were not flagged as he was leaving the field for halftime. The one that should have been reviewed for targeting was a helmet to face mask hit that left his lip/mouth bleeding.

wanted me to enter a NCAA colleges football fanbase portal as I denied last night with a sobbing cat by my side.
I will stick with the Thugs at UM for another year!

sorry if you lost hard earned cash on iwannabets dot com.

I really liked what Coach Calipari has said in this interview

I never really thought about the kids that are transferring 4 or more times - they're not getting a college degree, and if they don't get into the pros, they're going to need to work in the real world.
