unfortunately it was anything BUT a good game. The Ducks played like crap and it was painful to watch. Indiana is VERY good, but we are better (or so I thought) than what we displayed tonight. I'm just glad it's over right now.
too many January games, too many injuries and Indiana kept their ducks in a row!
chin up, there is alway next southern migration umm football season for the duckies!

Yeah, the pressure is on them, but they've been playing with a chip on their shoulders, and I think that will continue.
Well, honestly, that applies to both teams. I didn't think Miami would barely get into the playoffs and then go on the road to beat Texas A&M and then beat Ohio State. And let's face it, they should have gotten at least a couple of the four gifted interceptions in the Ole Miss game--which would have resulted in a rather large blow out as well.

So, does Miami try to play with its food in Indiani? Blowout loss for Miami.

Play up to the potential we saw vs. Ole Miss? Could be a good close game.

Miami definitely has a chip.

me thinks that UMiami is the underdog, not a good thing with M Irving, E James
and other U alumni or "thugs" on the sidelines, practice and ears of every h'cane.

there is no way this UMiami team has a chance against Indiana, correct?
but as a sports fan who looks at angles differently and not influenced by sports media dopes.
UMiami has a great chance if
they eat the clock as they did against all 3 teams,
run the ball for those 2nd and fives as they did against all 3 teams
swarm the passer, stop their running game as they did against all 3 teams (most of the game)
If the U takes an advantage on specials team and coach much better than as they did against all 3 teams,
they will beat anybody.

Gosh last night's game was brutal, i, for one, did not see that coming, I saw us losing to IU but not in that fashion, Ducks got out played and out matched from the start Moore looked lost, we had DE's playing RB because two players left in the portal (that needs to change btw should have to wait for the season to end) but all in all as a Raiders fan I think I saw our QB of the future unless we screw that up somehow

I'm sorry you two ( @C0ncreteBl0nde ) but I did. They are the unstoppable force...

The good news is that U of M gets their *ss whipping next. 😉

"Hey GovRonDeSantis, how about a friendly wager on the national championship?" Braun asked.

"If IU loses, I’ll send you some pork from [Fischer Farms], which is in my neck of the woods in Dubois County, plus some pies from the famous [Wicks Pies], including a sugar cream pie (an Indiana favorite). Pork and pie for bragging rights. You in?"

"Mike — I am happy to oblige and am impressed with IU’s turnaround (thanks in part to a Miami kid at QB). But I am all-in for The U," DeSantis responded. "If Indiana wins, I’ll send stone crabs and key lime pie from [Joe's Stone Crab]. I will just drop them off in Naples or Marco Island since that’s basically Indiana south this time of year."

I think I am the only U'Cane🏈 fan in Naples or Marco Island admists a sea (or gulf) of UI logos.

Two people still basically control the fate of the CFP.

Big Ten wants a 24-team tourney. SEC 16-team.

I could $ee the argument for the former, which would sort of dovetail with the Top 25 polling, but it would eliminate conference championship games, take too much time, and make the whole thing less special.

OTOH, if they're going strip CFB of all the old traditions, as they've been doing slowly, then they might as well blow the whole thing up, quit messing around, and just establish the super league. Trying to have both detracts from both.

A tourney that long would almost have to be the entire season. That would entail at least 5 weeks maybe 6.

And yet that article states this:

There is overwhelming support in the room for a 16-team playoff to begin as soon as 2026, sources said, but the Big Ten won't agree to it unless the SEC agrees to a 24-team format three years later. Sankey and Mississippi State president Mark Keenum, the chair of the CFP's board of managers, have stated publicly that the SEC would prefer a 16-team model. Sources have said Sankey doesn't want to commit to a 24-team field now, and Sankey wasn't immediately available for comment following the meeting.

Sorry but they're ruining CFP, the chasing after the almighty dollar has and is continuing to ruin the sport. I thought the 12 team playoff was too much, and yet they want a 24 team format in the future?
