Nah. I'm not about to force my daughter to drive for over 4 hours just so I can have my nose in my phone watching football. I'd rather spend the time talking and enjoying her company, especially since she'll not be back home until May. Football doesn't mean that much to me
I know your family is 1st then sports perhaps 56th.

my neighbors are not watching as well since they seem tired of the sport while I have really nothing else to do.
who ever wins really does not matter as I just need that entertainment since the weather is getting cold here, 73ºF
and i need to be inside! brrrrrrrr!

It's been awhile since I've watched a game with Romo as a commentator. I don't remember him being this bad - did he have a stroke or something and I missed it?

He even confused my 5 year old daughter:

"Why did he say something about a baby?"

"I...I have absolutely no idea."

Damn, Jacksonville was the only playoff team I actually liked. Lawrence was my fantasy QB for the beginning(not good) and the end(good) of this past season, Dart was my starter for the middle part until he got injured. Looks like I'm rooting for the Chargers now.

he is getting "digestible" lately but he does bang that cowbell too long.

Chin up, don't despair, there might be AI of NFLs or Lego NFLs
games that might have the Jags advancing on the interwebs soon!

Bill Belichick brought many innovations, like camouflaged/deceptive zone defenses, and was renown -- as juxtaposed to the Bill Walsh innovation of scripting the 40 plays according to a set game plan -- of making unscripted half-time adjustments to the pregame game plan. His ability to create a "winning culture" (i.e., the Patriots' way and "do your job") rivals those cultures implemented by Vince Lombardi and, in another sport, John Wooden. So, he is certainly among the best to ever to coach.

Great answer, and just the kind I was hoping for.

Is it just me, or does the Chargers' defensive coaching staff skimp on the tackling lessons? Or other fundamentals like keeping yourself between the ball holder and the end zone? Those extra YAC yards add up.

And dinking and dunking with the underneath passes when you need two scores, with little time left on the clock? Greg Roman strikes again. But I guess if they had an o-line that could help Herbert be less of a punching bag, he could have more time to let if fly downfield.

I just watched the Patriots vs Chargers highlights, and I have to say it was a game of defences on top, not exactly high scoring. I’d be surprised if the Patriots went on to the Super Bowl.

He did not have a great game.

No worries - its hard to tell when someone posts something on the internet. Sadly, I come from a family where my step father would most definitely make us do something like that, so he doesn't miss a game. I made sure I was never liked that :)

The Patsy won last night, I totally went to bed early and missed the game. In all honesty I'm rather surprised but kudos to Vrabel getting them prepared.

Looks like the Eagles will not repeat this year, they struggled all season and I think only for the fact that they're in the NFC east was why they made the playoffs.

I think tonight's game is too close to call, both teams haven't looked all that over powering during the season, though I'll be rooting for texans, which given my luck, means the Steelers will be victorious

And you got everyone where they needed to be? And some sleep? :p

Uneventful drive, which is what we wanted, shocking that there was so little snow in NH and VT. There was more snow in the beginning of December when I got her, then now. Still it was a nice drive, talking and connecting, especially since she'll be up there until May with no trips back to Boston on the books. I suspect I'll make a trip up there in Feb.

And some sleep? :p
LOL, I think I'm currently operating on 3 hours of sleep. So my daughter and I opted for Dave's Hot Chicken in Burlington VT - we've never eaten there and been wanting to try it. Boy was that a horrible mistake, something was up with that fried chicken. I was not feeling good, like getting really worried it was food poisoning - I think the symptoms calmed down around 11:30pm, and then I had to get up at 2:00am. I caught a few Zs on the back-end when I got back home at 4:00 but I had to get up at 5:00

wow, nice area of the planet-I used to ride my motorcycle through there while riding to or
from Montréal back or to Bergen County NJ
such beautiful scenery and less traffic!

anyways
I won't watch the game tonight, I was trying to watch the Pats-Bolts but just lost interest.
after that TD, Iturned off the game at 16-3 expecting a 16-20 score line this mooring
so I guess Las Vegas and NFLsbets lost interest or made a profit drying half time.

Broncos are playing Saturday as they always played Sunday nite when a #1 seed since 1990's.
I don know if that is a good thing or not anymore.

I can't believe the 49ers won that game. The Eagles offense was awful. I doubt they win against Seattle, but just getting to Seattle feels like a victory in and of itself.
I think there's no way they win against the Seahawks... unless Darnold has another playoff breakdown. He had a 14-3 season with the Vikings and we all know how that ended.

If you were expecting the Bears-Packers game to be over before the fat lady sang, you weren't paying any attention when they did it in their last match up.

Packers players before the game yesterday: "I hope they don't do it to us again"

Packers players after the game yesterday: "They did it to us again"
The actual quotes from several Packers players was "We did it to ourselves again." I saw/heard that on our local sports reports on TV.

I watched the last quarter of the Packers game to see what happened.

Funniest thing was a Bears fan who they showed a clip of. He had a grater (plane type) and chunk of cheese and was holding it up and grating cheese.

This guy in tan

LOL. I laughed when I saw the guy who was dressed as Mike Ditka circa 1985. Spitting image.

When I turned on the game, it was near the end of the 3rd quarter with the score fairly close, but then the rest of the game was the Texans walking all over the Steelers. They looked very impressive.

Stroud was awful in that game. Two fumbles lost and a pick and a lot of bad passes. Accuracy is one of the hallmarks of his game, but today they were way off the mark. If the D wasn't so stifling, he would have been yanked from the game. He used his allotted derp game for the season.
Might not have Collins for the next round. Maybe for the rest of the season if he's got a concussion.😰
