It would make sense for him to miss this race, given his great love of MBS, those 2 really are making this a great season.. to swear or not to swear..

Max will miss the Miami GP as his son has been born. Congratulations to him and his partner.

EDIT oops never mind, mis-read what I saw and it is just the media day and their son hasn’t been born… yet..

Who will step into his car though if he does take the weekend off?

Mercedes and Williams both looked strong on the Mediums doing race sim. Top 12 or so were within a second of P1.

Once everyone threw on Softs for Sprint Quali sim, things shook up more. (Note: Bearman went into the wall with about ~5 mins left which ended the session and likely scuppered runs by Norris and Lewis, amongst others).

They left several tools in Lando’s cockpit. You just can’t make this stuff up…. 😏

Update: Sounds like Norris just received a warning for the infraction.

The Alonso crash kind of proves the uselessness of the Sprints, the gains are so low compared to the risk of the main.. Now we may or may not have 20 cars on Sunday.. So I just wonder the wisdom of Sprints, if it means 18 cars, Le Clerc and Alsono..
