oh dear, 2011 all over again, inter team crash, and 1 driver is very upset... at exactly the same spot as Mr J Button and driver of car 44...

Seen this before, in Mercs, in Mclaren, in Ferrari, all teams have internal disputes that boil over into the race.. PastryPies and Borris are going to either agree on who is 1, and who is 3rd in the team.. I agree they totally goofed the strategy, if you are unwilling to stand behind 1 driver, and nominate that driver as 1, and the other as the spare, this will continue to happen.. Each driver wants the good parking spot, the free perks for being 1, of course until this is known to both drivers, they will continue to fight each other.. Be brave, we will still support both, but they need confirmation of who is 1, and the other spare..

Decent race, George was in control all weekend and was a good win for him apart from the SC incident. Hopefully he got his knuckles rapped, but also glad we didn't have the result altered by the stewards too.

Lando was clumsy and was faster than his teammate. He needs a more measured approach if he wants this title. I think Oscar is calm and may well win it this year if he keeps his composure. Lando has the speed and capable, just needs to work on handling that pressure. Max drove well in an awkward car he seems to get on with.

Kimi Antonelli, what a drive and a well deserved DOTR. He's a future champ and I have no doubts about that.

At least Lando owned up to it.

Well done George and Kimi.

I continue to be impressed with Kimi. He’s so in control for an 18 yr old. Has tremendous natural talent as well from what I see. I’m looking forward to his progression….

Well, hopefully he does now... lol

Lando is a nice young man. I have respect for him.

Lando let's people live in his head, and that creates an ongoing confidence/maturity problem. It's not isolated to Racing. I've been there.... He really needs to find a different Sports Psychologist. Back in my day we didn't have such support. You either figured it out or you were done. Everyone is aware that F1 is as much a Mental Marathon as it is physical. I see a talented driver who has an ongoing issue with pressure. It regularly leads to a lapses in focus and resilience. Given his career ladder and age of 25 it's what will hold him back from a WDC. The difference between Lando and Oscar are night and day.

I'm not sure he can "learn" this away. I also think he has benefitted from being close to Zak. I do wish him well though....

I don't blame Lando or PaistryPies for the crash, that crash was 100% avoidable, Stella was 100% to blame and should have been told to leave the team within 30 seconds, should have been fired Sunday during the race, long before the flag.. His incompetence caused the crash, as he refuses to pick a number 1 driver, so both drive not knowing who is 1 and who is the spare.. Teams cannot operate like that, chaos...It shows that he Stella, is unfit, maybe fit enough to handle an under 9 girls primary school karting outfit, but an F1 team, nope...

Not sure of his reasons for being almost 1/2 way through the season, and not having decided.. Will a fatal be his point of acceptance? This crash was a result of reluctance and incompetence, fear of upsetting, if that is the case, and he Stella is afraid of upsetting a driver, then that driver should not be driving.. By F1 you should be mature enough to not need a mommy or a daddy supporting your every emotion.. Pick Pies as your number 1, let Lando accept or not..That is up to Lando to deal with...

Yes I'm very happy he was at the podium last weekend.

I loved the dynamic between all three of them following the race. Paints a very different picture than that some 'fans' are trying to paint or argue.

Some, especially those against Danica, seem to think it is Martin Brundle ;) I couldn't possibly agree.

I had been holding out hope for Bumble this season. He seemed at times to actually be objective. That all went out the window in Montreal...... He doesn't seen to have any self control when he is next to Crofty in the booth. I'm sure it's a challenge....

"Mad Rumor of the Week" from Nico Rosberg - Ferrari is considering creating a secondary facility in the UK to draw on the large pool of F1 industry talent available.

Ferrari did have a UK-based "design office" when John Barnard was the Technical Director in the late 1980s. However, current Ferrari vice chairman Piero Ferrari is on record saying that not having everything in Maranello would be a mistake.

Just saw the last race, wow, half way through his first ever season and he gets THIRD place! One to watch! George was acting like a petulant child at the end braking hard like that for no reason what to ever, **** why ruin it like that?, and Lando oh Lando Lando.. well he isn’t the first and won’t be the last, and he did admit it was his mistake straight after.

Still some good racing in this one.

If they hired people and strategists that knew what they were doing it would help.. perhaps they want to do is so they can hire a team that are able to understand Lewis? lol… Poor Lewis his engineer does seem to struggle now and then with him.

Oh God yes, Toto is a God and Horner is literally the devil apparently for protesting.. oh and Max overtook half the field under the safety car too, so I heard..

LawVS posted a new video today about the UK rumors as well as Lewis hinting that he is pushing for internal changes to the Scuderia's management structure so it looks and operates more like what he was used to at AMG Mercedes. The Scuderia does things "the Italian way" with a rather heavy bureaucracy so Fred Vasseur does not have the authority of someone like Toto Wolff does as Team Principal.

Good luck to Lewis.. he is taking on a volcano taking Italians on! But hopefully he will get some change made as they sure need it.
