Wow, Isak Hadjar, insane.. What a race, and I hope the FIA only have sour Avo's for taking this race away in 2027...
Ted saying Isak teammates with Max in 2026? I think he should be in the car next week..
Gutted for Lando. Not sure he’d have passed Oscar, but at least he wouldn’t have given him a 25 point increase on the 9 he already had.
Needs a DNF for Oscar to make it a battle imho.
Great drive from Hadjar. He did very well. I wonder if he had the pace to overtake Max at times (if he would have been allowed!).
A weekend to forget for Ferrari. Not helped them in their WC fight.
I loved George’s radio reaction when asked to let Kimi pass. He definitely didn’t anticipate that.
Didn't know that his thread existed but I am pleased that it does! Brilliant race today. Big congrats to Hadjar, but I do pray that he does not get placed into the hideous vehicle that is known as the RB21
Rain shows who has “done nothing, achieved nothing” and who can keep things together and get the victory. This race did not need rain to be a chaos-filled cracker. 10/10.
Just wish the stewards could make a decision without needing dinner and a nap, first.
Okay.I hate this track. I hope nobody gets hurt here, ever on any track of course, but this one seems to easy to get lazy on and hurt someone.
Be cool if Hadjar snuck around the first three and got a win.
I'll try to enjoy Sainz racing backward again.
Yep. The only reason that car is scary is because Max Verstappen is one of the drivers and can drag it close to the front on (most) weekendsEven a dull knife gets results in the right hand.......
Um, I wonder who caused that problem? I saw an extremely well run, well attended event, that has been very popular, and I am sure that a discount or some sort of relief could have been found.. F1 is floundering in a sea of silly tracks.. What Zaandvort offers not only a tricky track, but tricky overhead conditions, rain/no rain, something the PHD's love, a real puzzler for the weekend...From what I have read, Zandvoort did not want to extend their contract as the attendance figures are not enough to cover the costs of holding it.
I don't recall, no surprise there, the last time we saw a PU failure from McLaren... anyone?Gutted for Lando. Not sure he’d have passed Oscar, but at least he wouldn’t have given him a 25 point increase on the 9 he already had.

WHAT!?!? I didn't get to see all of the podium celebration and as I left they were spraying the champagne. When did he break it?Nope, they are about as reliable as Swiss Trains.. Yeah, that was brutal, but I question the sanity of the moron in charge of trophies.. Surely in 2025, you just 3D print 3x fake trophies, the real ones are delivered after the end of year Dinner to the HQ of each team, "sign here for..." But to have real trophies, dude, they break them.. So print fake ones.. Like they do at the tennis, they don't get the real one.. They get fakes.. Poor ol Hadjar, breaking his trophy...
A lot of people saying how harsh that is on Lewis, he's perhaps reaching the point this season where the end can't come soon enough. The stewards decided to not penalize LeClerc for his tussling getting past George Russel, however they have handed a five-place grid penalty to Lewis Hamilton (to be served at Monza) for ignoring double waved yellow flags during the pre-race reconnaissance laps in the Netherlands.

100% AgreedI finally caught up with the race highlights and what a chaotic race. I don't usually like Zandvoort as I feel its too narrow for modern F1 cars, but the conditions really spiced this race up. Super chuffed for Hadjar with his first podium, he was on fire this weekend and deserved it. Nice lad too. A weekend to forget for Ferrari. Poor Lewis, it looks like a tiny mistake from him and there was no slowing that car down in time. He appears to be overdriving to compensate and here is to a new start in 2026. He's getting so much abuse online at the moment and it must be tough. Charles was a passenger in his accident and looked a lonely figure on the hill next to the track. Kimi has to dig deep if he wants to keep that seat for 2026 and I think many are realising he is perhaps the most at risk as George is havng a decent season.
Poor Lando though. He wasn't looking like he'd get past Oscar, but was strong and minimising the points damage. A lot of journalists comparing this now to Malaysia 2016 where one DNF can make the championship very difficult. Lewis dug so deep that year and pretty much dominated the second half of the season, winning the last 4 races and pushing Nico into desperate mistakes, yet it wasn't enough. I can't see Lando dominating Oscar the same way, and unlike Rosberg, he is cool under pressure and consistent. Lando needs to pray for a DNF to get him back in it I think. A good season though so far.

Gotta be sarcasm... right?Well McLaren could do some tricks with strategy or maybe some tyre differences to help Lando win the championship. This would be a way to do it without "team orders".
Can't have him being beaten by someone who has done nothing, achieved nothing.
