The pats are cutting diggs, which should come as to a surprise The cap hit was going to go to 26.5 million (from 10 million) if he remained on the team, and then there's his legal issues that can only distract the team

Speaking of distraction
Boston restaurant under investigation after alcohol, hookah found at Patriots after-hours party
I'll miss Diggs in a Patriots uniform. Great season. He has had a tough go of it. Legal issues. Lost in the Super Bowl. Lost his job. Lost Cardi B. 😒

In only what I can say is foot in mouth disease.
Dak Prescott decided to insert himself into the George Pickens contract situation by stating

"George loves football," Prescott said. "That's the one thing about it. I just want him to know, don't change your love for football. Don't get in the business mind of this. You played last year on a one-year [deal] for not even that much, right? So, if you can go $30 [million] or whatever it is now, I think it's the same thing I got when I was franchised, hey, go do it.

Seems quite tone deaf as he's on a long contract and his income from the cowboys last year was over 86 million dollars. He didn't seem to have an issue getting into the business of football, when he wanted a better contract - George should as well

The dolphins are cutting tua and will take the nearly 100 million dollar dead money hit this year

I can see why they are doing it, but that is a blood bath in "dead money". I wonder if this incident will curb those big contracts.

big contracts.....NFL teams are typically very profitable, and I don't mind the players soaking up some of the cash flow. Maybe getting rid of the whole system of contract caps and dead money stuff would make more sense. None of that actually improves the product to us consumers

Tua to Atlanta for $1.3 million one year deal
ATL fan from Hawaii but was never a big Tua fan, not even when he was in high school. Mariota I liked, especially at Oregon. I would've much preferred if the Falcons brought Mariota back instead of signing Tagovailoa, especially since we can assume ATL is going run-heavy no matter who's under center.

Good news/bad news for @pachyderm
Sources: Raiders to trade Maxx Crosby to Ravens for two 1sts

Compiling draft picks to start the rebuild process is a smart move, but its no doubt painful to see such in impactful player go but in a very un-raider like move, they seemed to extract the most value out of moving him. You know instead of after the draft where there's less demand and less draft capital to offer

it's being reported that the Maxx Crosby trade is now off due to the results of the physical exam

The Raven's didn't shrink away, licking their wound's
They went after and signed free agent Trey Hendrickson. I think overall that's a better move for them. They keep their draft picks and still upgrade their defense

He had a prime? lol

The Jets deserve him... 😛

Some people make the same mistakes over and over and over again.

It was a more of a surprise to find that the Viking were interested in Smith. They seem to have fallen into a series of mistakes in staffing the QB. It's too bad since just several years ago they seemed to be on the upswing.

The clock is ticking, as teams need to get under the cap by 4:00pm EST about an hour and half as of posting this
4 teams are currently over the cap, but not by much.

"Hold my (Correa-brand) beer"

-SF Giants and NY Mets

I guess he's now committed to stay with the Raiders, providing the team feels the same way. And, they can still afford him despite the FA spending spree they made thinking he was gone.

Murray's 1-year deal with the Vikings looks good. Little risk, and more upside than Geno would have brought.
