Its less about the moral side of things, and more about someone who holds his team to a high standard.
As the head coach, and former player he was emphasizing discipline, accountability, and character. When someone in that role is accused of adultery, it clashes with the image people expect.Vrabel harp. In many respects, its hard for him to hold his players accountable, when he chooses to make life choices that go completely against the message he had drilled into his players.
The issue with her, is that her credibility and integrity were wiped out. I think its not right that she is the only one facing the consequences of their actions, but that doesn't mean her having consequences is unfair.
I'm of the opinion if it was anyone other then a NFL head coach, nothing would have occured, but she relies on relationships with teams, coaches, general managers. Do they trust her now, that its been shown that she had a personal relationship with another coach? Will they be willing to talk to her, as they may believe anything they say (or show her) will end up in New England?
Her characther is now in question, and for journalists you need to have integrity and character - the Atheletic presumably gave her an offer she could not refuse - allowing her to quit and not get fired which would have caused more drama.
It isn't about morality, not in this world, where anythings, but rather the hypocrasy of two people who have a public voice, now all of sudden caught up in actions that they would have demanded other people's head for.
