Brendan Sorsby won't sue NFL, will now prepare for 2027 draft
So the saga ends for 2026, but I am curious about him not playing football at all (maybe that other league in the spring), and expecting to be drafted the following year. I don't know anyone other then Maurice Clarett and that did not exactly work out for him

Finally, some common sense. Professional sports, including the NFL, can be forgiving and some team thinks the player can contribute, short of an offense in the some form of homicide. There has even been an arguable situation in such a circumstance, much later than OJ.

hmmp

Spoiled rotten man child ya say...

Whatever his issue is, he's been his own worst enemy.

So who's going to spill the beans? Tell us about your experience at Kelce's wedding. 😆

Yes, a little surprising given his college career. I suspect he'll make an effort to catch on elsewhere.
He hasn't done himself any favors doing the heisman award process, but yeah, I think he'll land on his feet somewhere.

he does have to overcome the perception that a 5'10" QB has a problems seeing receivers....and Ai claims that the average lineman is 6'4", so there's indeed a potential problem......so he'll have to prove it isn't really an issue. Maybe he'll have to spend some time playing in Canada

Ravens waive rookie Diego Pavia to make room for Ethan Pocic

I'm a little surprised by this, in that they didn't even give him a chance at training camp.

Did he tweet about it afterwards? 🤣

Patriots second-rounder Gabe Jacas remains unsigned, did not report to camp

This one is a head scratcher because its not like rookie contracts can be modified very much.

Living up to his name?

Some interesting news coming from PFT

Tony Romo is arrested for OWI in Milwaukee

His broadcasting career is over - or at least put on pause. He'll do the typical remorseful apology, check himself into rehab, yada yada yada

"That all you got?"
-Signed, Mark Sanchez

Man, that's not even remotely close to getting a sniff of Sanchez' skunky beer, never mind holding it.

I'll be here all week…try the veal.

Romo's too good to dump; he'll pay his penance and all will soon be forgotten.

Sanchez, OTOH, goes on trial just before the season starts. If he manages to avoid jail, he can head straight to podcast land.

Or they saw enough in mini camp to know. These coaches immediately know who can play and who can't. The problem is the GM's/owners often don't want to admit they made a mistake, especially on a high pick you just handed several million $ in signing bonuses to. With Pavia, there was very little to lose by grabbing him and when he didn't work out, very little to lose by dumping him.

Note to Kyle Shanahan -- kudos for doing the right thing and setting the record straight about your culpability, but since you'll need to buy a new car, shop for something with CarPlay or Android Auto…
