^ It should be. I don't see why it wouldn't.

4) Jack Bauer once forgot where he put his keys. He then spent the next half-hour torturing himself until he gave up the location of the keys.

That one is crap, because we all know Jack never gives up any information being tortured. He was tortured by the Chinese for two years and didn't say a word.

When Daniels was ordering the **** about the 25th amendment and the press release regarding Palmer, I thought he wasn't going to be a dick. But he's still a dick.

That preview for next week makes it seem like this hostage situation wil be over fast. Could be misleading, but what could be planned for the next 5 episodes after next week. Still waiting for Daniel Jackson from Stargate to show up.

I liked the end. "You can't go against the White House Jack!"

lol.. when will they learn, Jack is more powerful than the White House.

But he wasn't being tortured by Jack Bauer.

Of course if Jack Bauer were to torture Jack Bauer I think Jack Bauer would kill Jack Bauer before he gave him any information.

And it's officially a season of 24, Jack has gone rogue and had to threaten another CTU agent. All we need is the CTU mole and the gods of 24 will be satisfied.

Doyle's an idiot. Should have let Jack take care of it by himself.

Also really dissapointed at Bill being fired.

Good stuff, though it annoys me how quickly things like finding a scapegoat "have to" be accomplished. That Department of Justice guy worked through the whole evening and now at 1 AM figured it was time to pick a scapegoat and wrap things up??

what are your predictions for next week.
They need to think if a different name then "the component" seems lame and kinda dirty :p

Good grief--that is friggin hilarious! :D :D :D

Funny cause it's true. Some of it even happened in this episode.

1. All the threats are only a block from CTU
2. It takes only 10 seconds to assemble a strike team.
3. Bill gets releaved of duty all the time.
4. Jack has been right 1,352 times and wrong 0. Yet in spite of this the higher ups always think it's too risky. Forcing...
5. Jack goes rogue
6. There's a mole.
7. Jack closes every other scene by exclaiming "Son of a @#$%^!" or "Damn it!".
8. Division ties CTU's hands claiming it will make them more efficient.
9. When in doubt torture, torture, torture.
10. Kim just gets in the way.
11. Chloe gets re-assigned, taken to holding, or asked to stand down every season.
12. Jacks to ridiculously good at his job forcing the writers to throw everthing at him but the kitchen sink.
13. No one coulld possibly like Ashley Simpson's music.

12. Jacks to ridiculously good at his job forcing the writers to throw everthing at him but the kitchen sink.

Season 7: Jack has to disarm a series of biological weapons that are hidden in kitchen sinks in large LA skyscrapers. lol.

And what the 24 writers want to put in but can't get away with:
14. Foul-mouthed Chloe!
15. Yeah, and Milo should walk around with a sign over his head that says traitor.
16. Jack should just slug anyone at CTU who taps him on the shoulder.
17. Could have saved Bill some heart ach if Jack had just shot Karen Hayes the second he met her.
18. Jack should go to the bathroom.
19. More characters should take naps.

what are your predictions for next week.
- Audrey is obviously drugged and/or brainwashed, as all she can say is something along the lines of "Don't let them do this to me, Jack".

- Jack is freed from holding because he's "the only man who can track down" the Chinese guy.

- Blondie with the VP is a Russian spy

As for last night's episode, agree that it was pretty good, although they always force the story line, like as was mentioned with Buchanan's sudden need to leave in the middle of the night, in the middle of a crisis. Right.

As far as the Doyle thing, seems a little far-fetched that he could have tracked Jack so quickly, or that CTU could have gotten there so quickly with about 30 vehicles, yet still couldn't see Chinese guy leaving or track him.

BLondie is not a Russian spy! Where did you get that facet?
I suspect that she is working for Karen Hayes' secret project coming up next episode.

In the previews, someone mentions that the Russians know about the chip handed over to the Chinese. Blondie is shown making out with some dude who isn't the VP.

As for being part of Karen Hayes' secret project, I don't know. I'd think if she had a secret project, Bill wouldn't be on his way home.

i was in and out of 24 last night because of the braves game (we lost :( 8-7). but i caught enough to understand the story.

and audrey got screwed over in china...or maybe that's not the real audrey...
