Nice, but what is up with the music changing every episode. Now it's a little 007. Heller confronts Logan next episode? It can't be that easy. We still have 7 episodes left!

I noticed when the music changed a couple hours (er, I mean weeks..) ago, and then tonight's was definitely...different. I didn't like tonight's music, but otherwise it's been okay.

So....Logan wanted to set up the sentox gas thing so he could save the day and be a hero?

Pretty much the only good thing I can say about Logan is..... at least he pretends like he didn't want Palmer killed.

I don't believe so. I think their original plan was always to set up the terrorists, it just backfired.

Music with the 007 reminded me very much of the Secret Agent Guitar 04 loop in GarageBand. It sounded more like that than the real 007 I think.

Funny that people keep mentioning the music... I honestly haven't noticed it (changing, that is—though I barely notice it consciously).

chloe got some super cool spy music at the end

Threads & Profiles

So how is the crazy sexual harassment chick going to cause trouble now that Bill Buchanan is gone? I know he was in the preview for next week's episode. Have the writes ever intoduced a plot thread like this then just dropped it?

Anyone ever take a look at the character profiles? Jack, Audrey, and Tony are the only characters with their masters. Pres. Palmer has a doctorate. Kim has a GED. It looks like Curtis is either from my home town or spent a good part of his early career here in Massachusets.

In the preview, it seemed as though she was helping the Homeland Security people in trapping Chloe.. as in she set Chloe up with that information about a blocked satellite, to see if she'd help Audrey. As to WHY they would do that...who knows.

The character profiles are kind of cool. Nice to see that Jack Bauer found something to do with a degree in English. :D But... how come it doesn't list Vice President under Logan's experience?

Episode preview

Wow, the previews after each episode are pretty tame compared to the spoiler filed ones the night before. I'm always surprised at how much information they disclose the night before. That could have been a nice surprise. Now I'm going to see it coming a mile away.

24 has gone pretty rediculous since the first season. They are fantastic episodes, but an president ordering a hit on an ex-president? After all this, no-one can spend 75c on a bullet to kill George Bush.. :D

6 episodes left

Okay I will finally concede that Henderson outsmarted Jack. Up till now his escapes have been rediculous and anoying, but tonight's escape was actually clever. He didn't kill Audrey so Jack would have to stay help her. What was that bit with the first lady and the cell phone? I looked away from the screen for a second and missed it. She called Aron heard a ringing near by then what? Is Aron dead or in on it?
Wonder what the contingency plan is. Didn't notice anything wrong with the music tonight.

Aron was not there to meet her and his phone was on the ground ringing because she called it. The background of the phone was red too. He is probally dead or captured.

Wow Chloe is my absolute favorite character! (just had to drop that in)

I really want to know what happened to Aron!

Wow next episode looks awsome...

(enough of this nonsence rambling, time for bed)

I like how they tied up a few loose threads (like that conversation wherein it was revealed that Walt Cummings thought he was the mastermind, and didn't know the pres was involved) and put a few unknowns into the mix - Aaron's fate, Martha's fate.. well, just about everyone's fate.

When Sec. Heller came back into the hangar with his henchmen (okay.. security detail) I was really excited and though that he was finally, finally going to be shown as evil. But no.

This season started at 7am, right? They mentioned that President Palmer's body was going to be flown back to DC at 7am, anyone else expecting the season to end on a touching send-off of Palmer's coffin, complete with a silent clock? (Not that I want to bring up the silent clock discussion again...)

I doubt they would use the silent clock again but I could picture that as the final scene for the season. I for one would want to see Palmer again. Even not seeing, just knowing hes in a scene is enough for me, he just has such a presence. I have never actually felt sad seeing a fictional character killed but when Palmer died, it hurt. :(

Anyways I though tonight was another great episode as usual. I thought it was very predictable that Logan would get a call from Henderson saying that he has the recording just before Logan signs the letter of resignation.

I sure hope nothing happens to Martha next week. She's one of my favourite characters but apparently (according to next weeks preview) she's been "taken care of". :(

I know they've never used the silent clock twice in the same season, but I was rather surprised that Palmer/Michelle/Tony didn't get one, but Edgar did.. I like Edgar and all, but he was certainly no David Palmer.

I was hoping for another one of those exploding computer parts when Jack threw the recording to Henderson - Henderson dies, Jack saves Audrey, Logan is taken down. I'm assuming that one of these characters was smart enough to make a copy of the recording? Or that Jack did throw a decoy (since Henderson didn't play it right there to verify it was the tape, that could still be an option) and Logan still be brought down.

Glad to see that Chloe got out of CTU and ran to Buchanen's house. Isn't Wayne Palmer there, too? All they need is Curtis to show up and they can have their own, independent CTU. :D

Yeah, that was my favorite scene last night. Just that the old man was able to catch Jack off gaurd like that.

At least Tony got to die with the Lion King music in the background. I thought Henderson suddenly coming out of his drug induced coma was the most rediculous scene this season. Made me think of... well... you know...
