The new trailer is out and we are only 2 months away from a new season of 24 as the buzz has started to build. So rather then keep the old thread going, this is the 24 season 6 thread.:)

CAUTION: This thread will contain spoilers. If you haven't watched the latest episode and don't want to know what happens then Don't read this thread.

Hello 24 season 6 thread. Nice to meet you.

I don't buy Wayne Palmer as president. Just because you're related to someone who was president doesn't mean you're qualified to _be_ president. Does it?

Anyway, he doesn't strike me as presidential. I'm sure the season will kick @$$ though. Especially if it opens with Chloe in her underwear, á la last year.
 
Last season Chloe was "out of the office" more and judging by her new hair color I think she will play a more physical role this season.

ummm listen this is not a politics thread, and it never will be unless its 24 politics, but I really can't see how you can honestly ask the question in bold. I ask you to look no further than the current white house. It helps to know the right people and have a popular name, thats probably enough to win you a presidency. At the same time I think it is the first time that a chief of staff moved on to the presidency.

it boils down to using a like-able trusted character in a role to support jack, its as simple as that.

Haha, he just said "not qualified"...he didn't say it couldn't happen. Naturally there are all sorts of familal relations who achieve political office.

Thanks for start a thread about Season 6 TWO MONTHS before it goes on the air. Now I'm trying not to pee my pants while I go find the trailer. This is my first season that I'll be watching in HD. Can't wait.
 
Jack dies? If that holds true i think the show will follow in his footsteps. I cant wait till the new season starts :D

man i cant wait for this season. I had my girlfriend making fun of me for watching 24 before season 5. I got her to watch the first episode in season 5 and i got her hooked. I just cant wait for this one.
 
Just one more month till season 6, This wait is killing me.:cool:
 
My favorite show!!! I'm also dying to see some "Jack Bauer breaks some necks" action :D

The thing about 24 is that all it's main characters are disappearing, I don't know, all the "favorites" have died already (except Kiefer of course), so frustrating. Anyway, this season will be great, after the Day 5 ending, it can only get better :)
 
Darn it all to heck! None of those links will works for me. Im sure its a problem on my end... Oh well.

I cant watch those but I have seen the ultra short clip on TV where Jack has ahold of some guy and the guy says "your hurting me". And Jack says, "No I'm not. Trust me."

FRIGGIN SWEET! I cant wait for 24 to start up again. Easily one of my favorite all-time shows. The Jack Bauer Power Hour!
 
24 was one of the best reasons I had a Sky subscription in the UK, I had hed cancel it a few months ago so I wont get to see the new season, bugger! I doubt that they will ever make it onto the iTunes Store in Europe and even then I imagine a long wait until they become avaliable. Ah well, I hope you all enjoy it...
 
Okay, I'm new here, but I'm a big 24 fan. So,,

I can't imagine them killing off the main character. Given the popularity of this show worldwide, I suspect some fans would go totally nuts if they did.

More seriously though,,, Is it just me, or is Chloe hot? (and I know it's not just me! :D ) I mean really, nice looking and great with technology? win-win! You can bet the clocks on her DVD player and microwave aren't constantly flashing "12:00".

Question, fan to fellow fans: I already have the 24 dashboard widget. Anyone know if there is one with that "Ka-chung, Ka-chung" sound effect? Yes, I admit to being a geek boy.

Ka-chung? What show are you watching? Law & Order? The 24 clock goes"beep, beep, beep, beep" or "deet, deet, deet, deet". It's either 4 or 6 seconds i think. Never really payed close attention to it.
