Meh. I'll still be not paying attention to the commercials when I'm watching it on Sunday and Monday.
That's what a DVR is for. I almost never watch anything live anymore, so I don't see many commercials.
Ok I have to admit I cheated and downloaded the first 4 episodes. I was only going to watch the first one today but I ended up getting sucked into watching all 4. I won't spoil anything for amyone but all I can say is WOW!!! The end of the 4th hour is... just... WOW!! I can't wait to see what's going to happen now.
That was me too. I was only going to watch the first two this week and then the next two the next week. But I watched them all in two days. I can't wait to see what happens next.
It's a bit sad that i look forward to January for this very reason. The best part is that i have Monday off so i can watch 24 then play games all night

This will be my first season watching in HD. Luckily monday is a holiday so I won't work late like every day last week. Unfortunately after this week I can expect to work late every day for the next 3 weeks. I assume 24 will continue to be offered on iTunes. Season 1 has been available at a special price for the last few weeks.

This is going to be the darkest season yet and the emotional roller coaster has started much sooner then ever.
Is it me or has it gotten really violent this season.
Ok 2 down 22 to go, First thoughts is that this is going to be a violent season. Some interesting plot lines shaping up, Bill and Karen, Chloe and the ex, Wayne and his sister, and what is Jack going to do next. It is going to be interesting to see who ends up being bad this year as they have opened up many angles and its hard to figure out who to trust.

Yes, it has gotten really violent, really quickly. The explosions I don't really count as violence. The biting-of-the-neck and spitting it out.
I guess Jack had to use primal instincts in China to survive, but cheesh!!!!!

He's not Taj. He's Kumar. I kept expecting Harold (John Cho) to bust through the door and urge him to go to White Castle or get their car back from a coked out Neal Patrick Harris.
This is is irresistable. So many dumb/selfish things happen that I dont believe would happen but I just cant stop watching.
Are you saying that Jack getting stabbed in the arm and in the back then still being able to fight a terrorist in a train is not realistic?

LOL, I know. And some of the decisions people make are just CRAZY! Even last season I was pulling my hair out. But the show makes great television. Also the writing take both sides of issues in current events. Its just a good show.
I have a feeling this season it going to be even more intence than the past ones. Monday nights episodes ramp up the action even more so I don't know where else this can go. I'm super excited to find out. As for Jack's neck biting it's just Keefer getting back to his Lost boys roots
