Ya know if the greedy fools ordering 3 at a time would let my mother get one without them selling out, that'd be grand.

Not everyone is 19 with a pocket protector sitting on the internet cashing three ip's and snarfing over the Wiki entry they just did about their great deviance.

There are a lot of people who get screwed that should have gotten one honestly that are "normals".

I have my 8g I bought brand new so I don't particularly care, but my mother was sent a link to get one and I find out the people hoarding 5 and ten at a time have screwed her out of a chance to buy one.

Seriously, most people who hoard the phones are trying to make a profit. It's completely legal.

I ordered just after noon CST yesterday. I just called and the automated message for my order said my order was activated and would ship within 24 hours. I havenlt received a shipping email, just the original order confirmation.

Right, there's two theories at this point :
1. They're completely sold out of refurbed iPhones at this time

2. They're having issues with their ordering processes, so they've taken the refurb iPhone page down for the time being

Your guess is as good as mine as to which is accurate.

I ordered my $249 refurbish iPhone yesterday before 9AM PST.

I received my confirmation order right away after I placed the order yesterday.

I received my Order Confirmation with DHL tracking number 1Pm PST next day, today.

DHL indicated that I will get it this Friday

Maybe right now they are soon to be refurbished...waiting from the plant to process/release them.
If they think that by this, they will have new customers, they are dreaming and that most of the people buying them are going to unlock them or re-sell them to someone who will also unlock them.

I am in the same boat as you! I wouldn't think we would get screwed over as it is different names and it is only 2, it's not like we ordered 5.

I really hope they get here by Friday, otherwise I am going to loose a lot more sleep waiting for this!

Got mine too! DHL said it inserted the tracking info today at 12:01 AM. I'm really hoping to get this Friday. Not sure if DHL delivers Saturday or not.

Dang it! I just got a call from the fraud dept of my cc company. They were suspicious of recent purchases on my accnt (Booked a cruise, wifes in DC shopping, airline tickets.... 2 i phone charges!!!) They thought my card was stolen so thet declined my second iPhone charge! I know its not at all their fault, the charges are not typical of my account.. But dang- This Sucks. I'm at work now and will come them in 30 mins to see if they can re-run the card. Hopefully they emailed me and will give me a chance to explain before they give it to the next person in line.

No tracking number, but my pending charge converted from $1 to $265. I'm guessing mine'll probably arrive around Monday or Tuesday, which is fine by me.

If it makes you feel better, I got one for my Mom... Wait- she can barely use the basic Motorola Boost Mobile phone I got her.

Looks like this one's a backup for the one I've got.

Funny, I'm writing this on my new Black MacBook refurbed (same went with that one).

Keep looking first thing in the morning - with all the iPhones being sold, you're bound to get one. Maybe a 16 Gig for $299?

Ordered mine Tues a.m. around 10. Got the conf. email with an order number yesterday soon after. Checked the number via the AT&T site this a.m. and got nothing but the dreaded red "can't find a thing buddy" message. I called because I noticed there weren't any more listed and the lady on the phone called over somewhere and confirmed it was received and will ship within 24 hrs. Got THAT email this morning and I'm all set and waiting. Should arrive Friday.

The fact it's being sold by someone other than AT&T or Apple?

Same thing that keeps people from selling any cell phone not still sealed in plastic as a new phone.
