Not Charged Yet?

So, My iMac has shipped and will be here wednesday morning yet Apple has not charged my checking acct yet. They had immediately put a pending payment when I first ordered but that dropped off over a week ago. Now I will gladly take a free $3,000 computer but is it safe to assume once I get it delivered then I will be charged?

Why is my imac still in shanghai after shipping 4 days ago!!!! UPS forgot about me I guess. I have read every post on this thread and I am very happy for the rest of you(especially the other 11/30 buyers) and I have yet too see anyone else's shipment stay at Shanghai for more than 2 days. WTF

Excited to find my iMac now listed under my Apple support profile with serial number, etc! Sometimes it's the little things...

Finally Here!!!

I was able to pick it up from FedEx and just got it setup in my study. Replaced the 8GB of Apple stock RAM with the 32GB I got from Crucial and this thing screams! Plus, it's lighter and looks thinner than my old ACD. I'm not missing my Mac Pro at all.

Believe it or not, my status just changed to preparing for shipment. My coworker heard me jump out of my chair really fast, and she immediately knew what had happened.

Finally! About time..... Congrats. I got mine delivered today. I'm in the 5 minute club. Replaced RAM with 32 from Crucial... Finished transferring all my data from my PC and reinstalled all programs except Office for Mac which I'll need to purchase...

Yes. This is the flight I am tracking as well. I'm scheduled for Wednesday delivery to New Jersey so I assume it will be on a plane to Newark either later this evening or early tomorrow morning.

That's awful! It's literally been years since I've seen a new LCD display with more than 1 dead/stuck pixel if they had any at all. To have "a few" is surely an outlier anomaly.

Honestly for how much these things cost. I'd be sending it back. You shouldn't have to settle for that.

Thanks to all for your kind words and support. Now that it's preparing for shipment, I'm feeling pretty positive about getting it by the end of the week, but we'll see.

He figured it out

Not only does my husband not have extra waiting until my iMac arrives to open his Christmas present, he doesn't have to wait at all now. When we got home from work, he decided to weigh his present to see if he could figure out what it was. And he guessed correctly, based on the weight, that it was an iPad mini with a smart cover. So he's already opened it and is getting it synced. This way he'll have it on the plane next week. Too bad I can't take my iMac on the plane!
