27" Delivery time thread.

I feel your pain. Mine has been sitting in Shanghai since the 15th. Just got the "export scan" early this morning but nothing since. Maybe we are waiting for Bayleaves to get onboard?

Thanks to all for your kind words and support. Now that it's preparing for shipment, I'm feeling pretty positive about getting it by the end of the week, but we'll see.

Yes bayleaves, there really is a Santa Clause after all. Really happy for you, you have been very patient considering the long wait! Now, if you can get Old Saint Nick to do a quick 180 after he delivers your new iMac back to China, I would really appreciate it. Ordered on Nov. 30th and still "Processing":confused:

I am sending all my positive thoughts your way (and to the rest of the 11/30 folks). I just can't believe there are still November 30 people processing - that is totally not right when some early December orders are starting to ship. I'm keeping vigil until all the 11/30 people get past the processing stage.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you, sister. Mine was preparing for over 24 hours. I'm currently fighting with getting windows 7 installed so I can try out the 680mx. Driver hell...
 
Hi, new here although I've been lurking for days! I ordered on the 30 th @ 4 pm pacific time and still processing:mad: I talked to Apple on Friday to order one to one and the guy said mine was preparing to ship. I told him that on mine it was still showing processing. He thought that was strange because his clearly said preparing to ship. All weekend I waited for it to change but no luck. Still showing delivery 31-4 so I hope so. I've really enjoyed watching all of yours arrive safely though.
 
My Mac was stuck in Louisville waiting for customs clearance. It took a day. It could have been worse. I'm hoping it comes tomorrow but its still not showing a revised estimated delivery date.

Thanks bay leaves. I'm glad yours is finally on its way. It gives me hope mine won't be too long behind it! Maybe posting on here finally will be my luck.

the big day

ordered mine soon after they went on sale. original delivery was scheduled for dec 24-31. shipped from china on the 10th. arrived today it's gorgeous and fast
 
11-30 to tomorrow!

Mine is in Ontario tonight (Calif, that is) only a few miles from me! Looks like it will make it to my house at last tomorrow. I almost hate to accept it while there are still other 11-30ers out there who are still processing or waiting for delivery dates. :confused: ....almost
 
well folks.. my iMac arrived today and I unpacked it and set it up this evening. it's a lovely piece of hardware and I haven't found anything to complain about yet. the screen looks great.. if i were to be super nit-picky, there's a very slight lack of uniformity from top to bottom, in that whites look slightly warmer toward the bottom. and the bottom corners have a bit of blacklight bleed.. but it's nothing to get fussed about. the screen is overall absolutely gorgeous

this is my first desktop in probably 10 years, and i'm honestly a bit overwhelmed at the size of the screen. it's just enormous. but it's a nice computer and looks great on the desk. hope everyone gets theirs soon and is happy.. shouldn't be much longer to wait..

time for me to bow out of this thread.. good luck everyone!
 
December 1st orders

Any December 1st orders out there that have changed to either "preparing for shipment" or "shipped"?
