27" iMac delivery in the UAE

it has cleared now.. should be on its way here.. but there is no departure from shanghai.. my best guess, we will have them on monday , unless there was another clearance issue here in Dubai ... this is hell..

ok.. shipment is progressing..
Departed Facility in HONG KONG - HONG KONG..
called DHL.. and was told that next stop is dubai.. if it arrvied today before 12:00PM.. it will be delivered today.. if after 12:00 PM it will be delivered tom.
will keep you updated..

Same for my shipment. Left Hong Kong at 04:46am local time, which is 00:46am UAE time.

Hopefully it will be in the DXB DHL depot later today! Hopefully there will be no issue with DXB customs

ramraid, according to DHL, it should be delivered tomorrow... according to the local time in which the flight departed it should already be here, since the flight time from Hong Kong to Dubai is 9 hours and 15min..which would indicate that the cargo should have been here around 10-10:30 max...:confused:
 
Going to be ordering mine in a couple of days- does Apple charge/PreAuth your card right away or when it's ready to ship? I need to make a payment on my CC today but that will take 3-4 days to get credited.

abbas, if your card limit is less than price for the product you need to contact your bank.. the authorization is right away.. but they don't take the money until they ship it/delivered to you.. hope that helps.. cheers

I do have the limit once the payment I need to make clears. So I guess I'll have to wait until the payment clears to place the order.

Hopefully wait times will reduce by then :)

:(:(:( mine is still on the way, departed Hong Kong on 14:38, I hope they can deliver it tomorrow, strange they were together all this time but changed in Hong Kong.

BTW they charged my CC today.

thanks.. keep us updated.. its a great system,and screen quality is 100 times better than previous models and has more than enough real-estate .. i dont have time today to test gaming.. but will do tom. the fusion drive is really fast by the way.. :)
 
It's finally here :), I can't believe it but the wait is over, i hope for everyone waiting to get there's ASAP.

on aerofly sim, at ultra settings, i am getting 120FPS.. this is crazyyyyyyyyy
