• were is flash-lite?

• were is flash-lite? I want to watch video on this and show it on the tv!!!

• what about cut and paste. i like to send URLs via email

• why wont they let Skype work on this> what the hold up....

• why cant i refresh my podcast via WIFI or upload music to it via WIFI....

That's correct. I imagine a 64GB will come soon, just as the original 32GB was announced later.

Are we absolutely sure that the headphones with remote and mic are bundled?

Also, do we know for sure if the mic will work with the Touch? I assume so, but confirmation would be nice.

Looks like the rise of the machines was due to the genius in itunes 8. It figured out that most humans like crappy music and decided to eliminate the problem. Proof. Look at the slide where all data goes to SKYNET.:eek:
 
big deal?

So...how did that qualify as a "big deal" in any way? I love :apple: and what they do for the technology industry but how can they possibly afford to lead the media on like this? This was not only not revolutionary it barely warranted an under the radar release let alone a big scale event. Computer technology is drastically lagging!!


edit: Not to mention no copy/paste, no facebook 2.0, no turn by turn gps, no picture messaging.... this is ridiculous.

Of course - right after people have spent millions for the 32Gig for Xmas they'll release the 64Gig in January. Typical - yet smart tactic - of Apple gouging the consumer.

Price drop makes iPod Touch really tempting.
219€ is quite a reasonable price.

Seems like an error, seeing as the backing looks like an stainless steel finish, rather than the typical iPod backing finish (that smudges). Kinda like an iPhone.

I agree. I mean all the improvements are fine, just not super-noteworthy.

I do like the Genius feature, I think it has a lot of potential especially as SkyNet gets smarter and smarter.

I think they could've introduced even more software innovations for the Touch. Skype would've been great (with the new headphones), Wifi podcast updating, maybe a NFL app similar to the MLB app...They could've demo'd all of those and skipped 1 or 2 of the games, and made the new Touch seem like a bigger deal.

Now I am a big Apple Fan boy and I have to say that this event didn't cause rockets to shoot out of my ass!

What a let down!

I think it is my fault because I was hopping for more.

Big price drops so my friends will stop saying that Apple stuff costs too much.

Speakers on the Touch.

I liked the new earphones though and my iPhone rocks; so all is good. But why didn't they just release this stuff on their Web. There was no big jaw dropping announcement or did I miss something?

so they integrated Nike into the ipod but still no bluetooth. Nice going apple
 
I was a bit bummed that there was no GPS in the touch since I figured that would be the easiest to implement. Either way I was going to get one so I just dropped the $400 on a 32GB one.

Even though I told the wife I was gonna get one I'm sure she'll still be p!ssed (especially considering we just dropped $300 last night on new cell phones).
 
been waiting on new macbook/pro updates for months and months and still nothing.

gotta be honest, this was the worst apple event ever imo.
