Has anyone got iPhone 4 with THREE recently how is the speed on the Internet?
Using my sim free iphone 4 on 3, its by far the best network I have used for data and coverage is better than I expected. Not quite so good for voice tho and I have experienced more dropped calls than on orange. everything else is much better though so I don't care!

Hotspot best on THREE network

Hotspot best on THREE network...

As three gives all you can eat data....another reason why more and more people WILL be joining three...

also best Iphone speed and coverage consistently...

3 Network comming to Iphone!

You may know that Tmobile/orange will be selling Iphone 3g from oct 2009 and Tmobile have already stated selling to their customers that pay above £75 a month on their contracts.

-------------------

3 have been trying to get Iphone deals. And it would be great if 3 can sell the Iphone.

They are way cheaper then all the other providers, also they have started adding loads of extra bases and back up bases for network coverage.

They will also implementing higher speeds of 3g about 7Mbs. Speeds that are normally reached on laptops.

But this will take some time.

Also AT&T details 3G plans

http://www.itweb.co.za/sections/telecoms/2009/0909110908.asp?A=TEL&S=Telecoms&T=News&O=ST

AT&T spelled out its plans for improvements to its mobile data network and the wireless carrier will roll out networks based on HSPA 7.2 technology in six major markets by the end of the year, reports InformationWeek.

The second-largest US carrier said Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, and Miami will receive this upgrade before 2010. The mobile operator will also be deploying additional backhaul capacity to the cell towers in these markets.

AT&T plans to deploy HSPA 7.2 to about 90% of its 3G footprint by the end of 2011 and then plans to roll out 4G networks based on long-term evolution technology (LTE)

Wait...you guys don't endlessly fight about what carrier the phone is on and which one is better? Must be nice....

Do you work for 3 or are you trying to ramp up your shares??

I'd be surprised if the UK's smallest network has more iPhone users.

I do not work for them, and don't HAVe shares in them.

Just want others to seek benefits of three.

Why fo the three stores have posters saying the number 1 network for iphone.

Three have more customers on iPhone then any other in the UK...

That doesn't prove they have more customers on the iPhone than the other UK networks, it's just bragging that they came top in a survey...

Three came first in the YouGov Smartphone Mobile Internet Experience report, and the YouGov iPhone survey, as the number one network in the UK for speed and value.

That number 1 rating is from one poll of 2000 users, hardly comprehensive.

It's also worth bearing in mind that yougov users get paid to answer polls (onepoll are similar). You have to answer a lot of polls to hit the qualifying amount of points so that the money is paid out to you. Poll fatigue sets in and you end up just clicking any response to rack up completed polls as quickly as possible. There's also competition to do polls as quickly as possible as often there are a finite amount of responses needed for a particular poll so it's easy to miss out on available polls.

It was more your grammar.

Also, I'm very into technology, I'm studying Physics, Chemistry and Further Mathematics A levels at the moment, and plan on doing Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
