i think it looks great. but i just like these kinds of movies......Gladitor, Troy, King Artur.....some of my favorites.....:D :apple:

I enjoyed Gladiator very much (I even bought the DVD) and went to the cinema to watch Troy (I didn't buy the DVD ;) ).

I know you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover or a film by it's trailer, but 300 just looks crap!

Honestly I'm skeptical as to whether or not the movie itself will be any good. But the visuals! my god.... they look absolutely fantastic. I would give nearly anything to be back home where there's an imax theater nearby when it comes out- seeing those on the REALLY big screen would be truly unbelievable.

maybe it is crap, but i'm still gonna go see it. Gladiator was a great film, and Troy was good also.

omg.. All the Spartan's have eight pack

so.....so do i

This is one of the few movies lately that actually caught my eye. Maybe I'm just out growing movies in general. Anyways the trailer was pretty sweet.

300: Made on a Mac

“On "Pleasantville," we had one terabyte of disc space for the whole thing. Now I have 16 terabytes on my desktop. We’re an all-Mac department and I have 15 G5s. Most of the compositing is done on Shake or Inferno,” says Watts, who needed that capacity to handle elements like fake water. “I shot a little bit of ocean off the Santa Monica Pier and we used that for two shots but most of it was digital water.” A German company, Scanline, digitally created all the elements of a scene showing Persian boats crashing against rocks. For another scene, depicting a burning village, “We shot one burning building from a lot of angles and smoke and put that together in an amazing sequence.”

The build up is getting to me, i'm really dying to see 300. Lucky for me i'm seeing it second day out at an IMAX theater for FREE! (Some kids taking a buncha guys.. very nice score :) )

I just saw this one last night at a preview showing at the University theatre. It was amazing, and decently historically accurate. You guys will love it. A breathtakingly beautiful and exciting film. The best ground fight scenes I've ever seen, bar none.

sry for the double post but i was just thinking...

if this movie was made into a wii game and actually created well and accurate, how amazing would that be???
