I would officially like to congratulate the Idiot who invested in this company and its products. The only thing I'm going to do with a $2000.00 to $3000.00 dollar iPhone case is bend over and take a nice hot dump on it. What dumbasses.

Unless this is a joke....this angers me considering there are people all over the world starving and can't feed their families yet someone releases a $3000.00 dollar piece of metal to protect another piece of metal. Whats this world coming to.

Stuff like this just reinforces the idea that the rich 'elite' out there just have:
1) too much money for their own good
2) don't give a **** about people in need

Makes me:

Thanks for posting your thoughts on it though Inframan, I'm happy to see there are still good people in the world :)

If this angers you to that extent then avoid watching the news, you might get a heart attack.

edit: just to clarify, yeah that case is stupid. But this is how the world works; Rich people buy private jets and cars and drugs and may not care about $3000 for a case, it's $3 for them.

I couldn't afford to drop $3K on a case but there are plenty of people out there who could without even noticing it - why shouldn't they spend their money how they want to?
Are you saying no-one should spend anything on unnecessary items whilst there are starving people in the world because if so where does that leave all the consumer goods (such as iPhones) that "ordinary" people spend thousands of dollars a year on?

No. by all means, if you got it - flaunt it - spend it - roll around naked in it. Its your money and you can do what you see fit. All I'm saying is that it's a piece of metal for God sake that costs an arm and a leg to protect another piece of metal. Its like me telling Mcdonalds to wrap my Big Mac in Gold cellophane wrap, it just wouldn't be worth it.

A $3,000.00 aluminum case to protect the phone....check.

Now to find a $9.00 rubber bumper to protect the case....

Wow, a lot of complaining babies up in here. So you can't afford it, move on. There are some people that can and will choose to buy this case. It's made for them, not you.

One could cry the same tears about how a Ferrari is overkill and way more than one needs on the streets and way too expensive. Doesn't mean that many don't enjoy them and purchase them even though a $15k car still gets you from point A to point B.

This really isn't that big of a deal, there are plenty of high end electronic item. The same people will buy this that buy the Vertu phones… which are basically ordinary old phones in very fancy cases.

It cracks me up when people say. "I can't stand when people buy these extremely expensive things with all this poverty in the world..." Really?!?! If you are so upset about people in poverty why don't you sell your iPhone and take that money and give it to those in need?

Don't get me wrong, I commend you for your compassion, but you shouldn't point your fingers at those trying to make money. Instead, you should be an example to others and show them what you are doing to help those in need.

I noticed it's made in Miami so that high end area will probably get people to buy it. A 3K case would help show them as elite.

Nothing like a person who owns near a $1000 phone, lives in California, and is worried about the hungry people!:p

Hahaha agreed. Come back to us when you own a boost mobile Nokia because I bet somewhere out there someone could be saying the same about you.

Isn't this the same analogy of women purchasing those $3000-$6000 Christian Loubitains shoes? A few years ago there was a signing by the designer for his shoes that drew a crowd of women at the mall. Women were actually spending this kind of cash for shoes.

I thought $600-$900 for Salvatore Ferragamo's mens shoes were expensive enough, but geez $3000 for shoes. There better be a red carpet everywhere I walk. :D
