What's funny is that an iPhone incorporates much greater manufacturing expertise than this case and is a phone, while costing less than $2000-3000. Did they take a spaceship to another planet to harvest the metal for this case?

I was appalled to hear about this $3K case. I went to their sight to leave an stinging remark for these capitalist pigs. Then I found their Titanium case. It's a mere $2K so I ordered a dozen.

Look at it this way: If someone wants to take advantage of rich idiots by selling a $3000 iPhone case, more power to them.

I say anyone who spends $3000 on a case doesn't deserve those $3000, and someone smart enough to take advantage of such an idiot does deserve it.

I agree completely. If I were the manufacturer, I would be pleased if someone buys it. However, they probably make more money selling them at a normal price, in mass quantities. (since probably not that many people are going to buy the 2000 dollar case.)

Global distribution at a normal price would have take this cases profits through the roof.

okay yea...i get pissed when people tell me I paid "too much" for my element case that's like 129.99

but if I ever saw a person with this case, id pee on their face

$3000 is chump change.

anyone pay $48 million for an iPhone 6?

Made in 'Merica.

If this angers you to that extent then avoid watching the news, you might get a heart attack.

edit: just to clarify, yeah that case is stupid. But this is how the world works; Rich people buy private jets and cars and drugs and may not care about $3000 for a case, it's $3 for them.

I read somewhere that j-lo fills a bathtub with some goo that costs $3,000 an ounce and sits in it for hours. Then washes it down the drain.

Insanely rich people will go into a store and just say to themselves 'WANT!' and plunk down their black card, and not give a #2 about the cost. Hell, they may buy 7 of them for the seven phones they have, one for each day... Goes along with their 'virgin silk' underwear.

That there are people in this country that don't know how much money they have and yet still beat down 'them' that aren't so lucky is thousands of times worse than anything I can think of.

Another phenomenon in this country is that the poor are so blasé about it.

Someone said that America doesn't have any 'poor' people, they all see themselves as temporarily inconvenienced multimillionaires... That explains why the 'Death Tax' played so well. Even though it effects, annually, something like 0.3% of all estates...

It will effect the rich politicians. We have the 'richest' congress ever in the history of American Democracy...

But anyway... I have to go clean out the garage, for the Lambo I'm sure I can get in the next couple of months... OH, and the real gold plated iPhone 6+ too...

OP is kind of asinine. Why didn't you take your money from your iPhone and use it to feed starving children? Why don't you sell all of your worldly possessions and go to some 3rd world crap hole and feed all the kids and help all of the poor?

/just sayin'

That comment makes about as much sense as the hairs on my ass.

Thank you for contributing nothing.

If makes perfect sense. You're obviously well off enough to own an expensive phone. You could use that to help poor, but you used it to buy an expensive phone. Just "elitism" at it's finest. Don't you care about poor people?

Oh, wait. It's different when you're the one being called out, huh?

Solution to congress: same pay scale/pay raise as the military and do everything from distance via teleconference. That will force the lobbyists to spend quite a bit more money to get around the entire country to try to lobby. Term limits would also be a great solution.

When a case is worth more than the item that it's protecting something is way wrong. You'd need a case to protect the case.

With all of the talk about Eagles and Flying Like An Eagle, and Souring With The Eagles, and Eagles Club, from a certain direction, I started to get hope, only to be dashed yet again...

I want to fly like an eagle
To the sea
Fly like an eagle
Let my spirit carry me
I want to fly like an eagle
Till I'm free
Oh, Lord, through the revolution

Feed the babies
Who don't have enough to eat
Shoe the children
With no shoes on their feet
House the people
Livin' in the street
Oh, oh, there's a solution

The poor and sick make for good photo-ops. Too bad they don't have better lobbyists...

I'm tempted to order one on principle just to piss off the OP.

Do you get mad when you see someone driving a Porsche or Ferrari?

I do when they cut me off in my Prius, and use rude gestures and foul language, which seems to happen more with those drivers, and big pickup trucks for some reason..

Is that a skid mark in the middle?

The problem isn't that rich people spend too much money on things that they could buy a more economical version of. The problem is that the truly rich don't spend enough money. I would rather have them buy a ridiculously expensive phone case than have that money sitting in an offshore account unspent and untaxed. Yes, it would be nice if they were simply charitable and gave large sums of money to worthy causes but that isn't always going to happen happen.
