Isn't this the same analogy of women purchasing those $3000-$6000 Christian Loubitains shoes? A few years ago there was a signing by the designer for his shoes that drew a crowd of women at the mall. Women were actually spending this kind of cash for shoes.
I thought $600-$900 for Salvatore Ferragamo's mens shoes were expensive enough, but geez $3000 for shoes. There better be a red carpet everywhere I walk.![]()
I would never spend more than $1000 on anything like that. Only on ACTUALLY IMPORTANT things. This is why people cannot retire on time. You can't just go around blowing that kind of cash on stupid stuff.
